Then no, it isn't, and I'm unsure why you would think it is. Unless you believe leaving three children aged 1, 3 and 7 unsupervised in a car whilst you f**k off shopping for an hour is acceptable in any way. That is neglect for me, and should be charged accordingly.
Maybe it's less common in England, and admittedly it was a long time, but seems minor relative to everything else that's going on in the world.

Is it minor in comparison to over 80 innocent people being killed by some nutjob driving a lorry in France? Yes. But then again what wouldn't be? It's a stupid comparison and doesn't lessen the fuckwittery involved in this particular case, nor make it acceptable. She should not have gotten off with just a few words from the officer at the scene. We're not talking five minutes here, they were trying to get hold of her for 40 minutes after the kids were discovered. What she did was no different than leaving those children in a house on their own for nearly an hour, arguably worse given the weather. And leaving kids that age on their own in a house is against the law and cases of that nature often result in neglect charges.

Leaving kids in a car for 40 minutes in 30 degree heat is deemed not important enough for discussion.

Using this thread to moan about gardening and overflowing bins is perfectly fine though.

Babies/toddlers can become rather unwell and/or die from sunstroke if they're left in a hot car for an extended period of time. The car essentially becomes a large oven. Pags is right, it's ridiculously stupid and irresponsible of the parent to lock her children in the car while she has a mooch around Next on the hottest day of the year. It's neglect.

Epic's in America where 30 degrees means something else.
Hey hun. Now this might sound a bit weird but I was checking your twitter and I saw your beautiful beard. I don't suppose the next time you trim up you can send me some clippings via post? I'll cover the cost of the stamp.

One of my local pubs was promoting itself as a POKEMON PLACE OF INTEREST today. I would like to register my UTTER DISGUST at this type of behaviour without doing anything productive such as withdrawing my custom (this would just render me thirsty).

The 'banterous' titles of match threads which sometimes crop up on the League Two forum really annoy me. Luckily they seem to be less frequent these days.

"Creepies v Barry Corr's 17th club"

Out local is offering 15% off food for people who are playing Pokemon go. I am still paying full price.

I thought you we're wittier than this, MNB.
Yeah it's poor by his standards, must've been tired. Brilliant reply by myself though I think, it's not easy gaining the moral high ground with mnb but he'll surely revise his opinion of Pokemon Go players now. If not then he's a heartless monster.

He should have gone for:

"Pokemon Go?

More like Pokemon f uck off!"

Can you believe he has got about 18 million Twitter followers?

I was merely parodying the inscessant anti-Pokemon Go feeling that you can see across social media. Y'know, the type of people who voted for Brexit and think the country is "going to the dogs". I have little to no opinion on Pokemon Go, except that I did install it but couldn't work out how to catch a Pokemon. I guess it's not for me. That's fine.
