I see, I personally use TPB for everything any way, but it is a loss, as they were one of my two back-ups (the other being Demonoid)...

Out local is offering 15% off food for people who are playing Pokemon go. I am still paying full price.

SO ANGRY right now

Signs that say 'Polite notice'. A notice isn't polite simply because you declare it to be so.

Yes, "polite notice" often sets off alarm bells as it's invariably followed by some petty, whiny, passive aggressive nonsense.

Conversely, I've always been a massive fan of "this door is alarmed" signs. Always makes me want to put my arm around the door and tell it not to worry

I remember seeing a poster which said " are you a racist? You'd be nicer if you weren't "
I can just see combat 18 having a massive existential rethink over that:ffs:

House hunting, although hate is probably the wrong word - more frustrating.

I'm in no massive rush to leave home and my intention is to rent is out for a year or so anyway (probably looking less likely now), but I just can't find anything that really takes my fancy. Ideally, I need to be just north of Lincoln as I am at the minute because I work at Scunthorpe so I don't want a car journey that already takes 45-60 minutes to take a further 20 minutes or so. So, that rules out Lincoln where houses are going to be cheaper but adds a further 40 minutes or driving a day.

That means my options are the few villages that are well within the catchment area for the local schools (where I am currently), which are very well thought of and that pushes the price of houses up because the demand is there for them.

I'd rather stay in the village I'm in at the minute, or go one down, but you're probably looking at least £190k for something that's not even particularly great and then going all the way up to £800k, which is slightly out of my price range.

Been unsuccessful in my attempts to convince the 'rents that they're the ones who need to be moving to a new place and leave me with this one.

When there's a new post in the TV section but when you get there you realise it's in the wrestling sub-forum.

Similarly, when you see there's a new post in the gaming section and it's for Pokemon Go.

(And all of those clicks result in sodding pop-ups.)

Meeting a lovely bird and letting her go.

Had my train cancelled whilst on it today but this bird was eyeing me up on the platform the whole time, and we both made a point of being near each other, even sat opposite each other on train. Train sat in one place for 40 minutes and we had to get off due to signal failure. I try to help her get to where she needs to go but it ain't possible without 8 buses. I walk off, find a nice little pub and after one pint go back to station, she comes up to me and talks, I'm me and basically shunts her away and go back to pub. I walk back to station but deep down I'm wondering where she's at, go in kebab shop next door and she's there. She's Italian and don't speak a great deal of English but we're fully blown in conversation, I know what she's doing for a living, how long she's been here, what city she came from, what age she is (same as me and she loved it haha) etc, etc. It wasn't until I mentioned going to a bar for a drink she shirked off, she probably thought it was a bit dodgy and understandably, only being here a few months and seeing someone like me.

It bugs me now though, like, who do you even find out who she is? Fuck life, and my missus, obviously

Silly people. Watching Grand Designs where a couple have demolished their house to build a new one on the site, have saved up a million quid for the project, yet punt the architect to oversee the project themselves to save a few bob! Why!!!

Waiting for parcels when you want to go out...

Is there a reason why sometimes they'll leave it around the back/at a neighbours and others take it back to the delivery office?

This. I had a very important package due to be delivered on Friday morning. I didn't hear the postman knock (I don't live in a large house so he can't have put much effort into it) and instead of checking the back door he posts me a note and now I have to go into town to pick the fucking thing up as it needs to be signed for apparently. Monday was my day off but I stayed in bed too long and turns out the central post office in Barnsley shuts at 2pm weekdays (I don't even) bar Wednesday when it's 8pm (again I'm at a loss) so hopefully I'll make it tonight otherwise I probably won't get my package while next Tuesday.

I'm hoping a satirical piece of art by a bit of a loony recluse. I don't know for sure though, it may just be a giant dick pic.

That horrible Sunlife advert where a woman is strong arming her dad into getting life cover, so that it doesn't cost her a penny when he goes. Doesn't sit well with me at all that advert.

Roided up daddy long legs flying at you in attack mode. Thank god I got cat reflexes and a shoulder roll George Benton would be proud of. Managed to snare it with a rolled up newpaper, took four whacks mind, huge bastard it was.

You want to buy a proper newspaper like the Daily Mail, the Morning Star is too flimsy to kill a daddy long legs.
