In order to soften this earth-shattering news, Jimmy, I have something else to moan about: small suburban Paris communes cancelling races (16km) as they don't want to take responsibility in case some moron kills lots of people with a grenade. I had 3 races planned in 3 months and the 3rd is cancelled. I hate this. I was looking forward to this as I applied last year but it was cancelled as well (for a much more valid reason as we just got daeshed).
