Purely from an efficiency pov people trans are a waste of resources... We have an ageing population crisis and trans & same sex participants are only going to make that worse as they can't yet reproduce and the science to enable them to do so still seems some way off... I think if you're a same sexer and get married you should have to adopt a child from the care system so that they're contributing to the next generations success.

I think it ought to have been fairly clear that my actual issue was with the content of your post, which betrayed a profound ignorance of the issue at hand. The reality is that people do struggle hugely with gender identity issues and, personally, I tend to think that anything that might make their lives a bit easier such as challenging gender stereotypes, is probably A GOOD THING. Something such as gender neutral passports hardly ought to be a bone of contention. It affords people recognition and is easy to accommodate (a number of countries already have them and the world still, shockingly, continues to turn).

Of course I could have got it all wrong as I failed to attend the latest module in the Daily Mail school of WHAT-THE-PC-BRIGADE-ARE-SHOVING-DOWN-OUR-THROATS-THIS-WEEK
