Just fucked off with the bleeding heart brigade in this country. People need to get their priorities right. They flit from one cause to the next and actually do fuck all about anything apart from comment about how awful we all are.
What are the priorities

Good god! I must be living in the wrong planet, because I find myself agreeing with ID in almost every way, whereas Aber (sorry), is the complete antithesis of everything I believe in.

To sum up, we didn't discuss all this 'gender bollocks' in the 80s

What are the priorities
What about single mums in poverty? What about the millions in low paid jobs because wages are depressed by the cheap availability of imported labour? What about the millions of young unemployed in Europe due to Germany’s feudal bail out conditions?

How? Being Labour leader he ought to be right behind Brexit, yet he’s on the same side as big business in keeping the wave of cheap labour going and wages depressed. And, if you haven’t noticed, he’s leader of the opposition so he’s not in a position to deal with anything - thank God.

Most on here are too young to have lived through the last proper socialist government in the 70s where the dead remained unburied for months, bins not emptied and the state owned monoliths were a byword for inefficiency.

Yay, let’s bring back good old British Leyland so they can churn out crap cars - when the workers can be arsed to turn up, of course.

Fucking cloud cuckoo land

Ah yes, the winter of discontent 78/9. The second longest suicide note in history, after Kinnock's 1983 election manifesto.

Yeah, must have terrible. Index linked wages, the possibility of buying yer own house, grant maintained further education, affordable council housing, secure employment, strong unions ensuring workers rights.
All these things must have been terrible.
Why do you people hate this country so?

Buying your own house thanks to Thatcher’s Right to Buy scheme.

UK, aka The Sick Man of Europe. More days lost to strikes than any other leading nation. And as I said before, bodies piling up in morgues cos of strike action. Ditto bin collections.

1976, hottest summer on record. Millions of people left with no water because of the state owned water company hadn’t invested in upgrading and maintaining the system. And Corbyn wants to return water services to again be state owned.

Just look over the water to France where socialist governments have led to the highest unemployment rate in Europe.

Corbyn’s ‘policies’ didn’t work back then and they definitely won’t work now.

We don't hate this country, it is the leftie trade unionists who try to hold the country to ransom that are the real enemy

You're probably too young to have an understanding seeing as you're a spoilt baby boomer but it was socialist policies and an investment in the people that recovered a depressed rack & ruin country completely skint from two world wars to everyone having a place to live & an NHS.

You & your peers are perhaps the most spoilt, ungrateful & selfish sods in the history of UK society. You've literally reaped every single benefit of the sacrifices made by those before you yet you've pissed on their memory by arguing that the rug should be swept from those who come after you.

Show me the data, prove yourself son.

I've got loads of history that can prove what I'm saying is correct. You've only got what super rich media barons have chosen to tell you haven't ya? :fl:

Come on petal, it's time to be a MAN and step up.

Policies that dragged the UK out of post war depression were of their time.

1950s policies in the 21st century?

How about this little snippet from the 70s Labour government

‘In 1976 Britain faced financial crisis. The Labour government was forced to apply to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a loan of nearly $4 billion. IMF negotiators insisted on deep cuts in public expenditure, greatly affecting economic and social policy.’

That’s the intrinsic problem with Labour, they abhor aspiration or self reliance. Rather have people relying on the Nanny State in the hope they will carry on voting for them.

The benefits I reaped being a Council house kid born in the 50s. A decent grammar school education, Now denied thousands of aspirational kids in the name of dumbing down. Everything else I got myself by hard work, not handouts.

People that can stand on their own 2 feet should, those that can’t should be helped. It’s the fuckers that can but can’t be arsed that I detest.

The legacy of Thatcher's council house policy being that we now no longer have houses for homeless people.

Fucking workers actually wanting rights and fair pay. I wish they'd all just shut up and crawl back into their holes.

Ps: Transgender people did exist in the 80's there just wasn't a environment for them to be open about it. We've moved on and developed since then in both understanding the psychology and in society.

You clearly do. Don’t want any nice stuff for anyone.
Sad

Why don't you think I love this country, and why do you think that I wouldn't want 'nice stuff' for anybody?

Ridiculous statement, and even sadder on your part

You don’t want trans gender people to feel safe, you don’t want young people to be able to buy a house, you don’t want people to have affordable homes, you want us leave the EU so we can all be poorer, you don’t want decent wages, you don’t want working class people to be able to get an education.
So yeah, you must hate this country.
I feel sorry for you.

Ah well, I’ll leave you to wallow in what a socialist utopia will bring.

When Corbyn’s shit hits the fan, hopefully I’ll still be alive to say ‘I told you so’.

If the flu bug doesn’t get me first, of course.

It’s hard to argue with delusion
You've failed to provide the data that would prove all of us wrong but you and a few stragglers correct. You've failed to respond to multiple questions that have been put to you. You are incapable. The last guy to get taken to the wood shed was eightiesrobin and he's now dead. You've got one last chance, provide the data or be a martyr to your own confused cause, which is it to be?

What fucking data? The shambles of the last socialist government is historical fact - I lived through it.

You have nothing but what you expect/ hope a socialist UK will look like - you have absolutely zero proof of how things will turn out. Hence the delusion.

In effect, you’re just hoping a Corbyn led government would make good on all its promises of jam tomorrow.
