Those stupid Direct Line adverts with Harvey Keitel. Presumably he's short of cash. It doesn't help that he looks about 60 years older than he did when playing the same character in Pulp Fiction.

Tbf to him he's always looked after himself and looks good for 75. Agree that those ads are dreadful though.

The vast majority of ads are shit and cringeworthy though, in comparison with most others at least they're bearable.

Gonna be honest, and many will probably disagree which will prove my point exactly.

When people say Peru is shit and deserve to be in 59th place are clueless as hell and have clearly never seen our national team play. Sadly because the World Cup is supposed to be "da best teams in da World" we won't have the international stature for people to actually admit we're good. I'll admit we haven't played well against anyone since our match against Uruguay, but before that people were claiming we're shit, Peru is shit. We are nowhere near a World Class team but we're better than teams such as Bosnia, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Honduras, I could go on this list for a while. Those teams were all in the World Cup but they're all terrible really. Nigeria did show decent level at the World Cup but we beat them last time we played them. I'll reserve judgement though as it was 1 game without their star players, so I'll give them a break. Ivory Coast of course have a good squad, but are pathetic. They have a terrible mentality, and just play like shit. They have a much better squad than us and don't play well at all. I was arguing with some Mexican c*** the other day that we were better and he said I was delusional. How hard is it to play in CONCACAF exactly? It isn't. Peru could easily qualify for the World Cup in CONCACAF and that's proven by our fantastic record against North American teams. That World Cup by Costa Rica was done by Pinto. I'm not convinced they can do it again because even Bolivia could have beat them prior to that. We beat them and Honduras home and away with ease and I can prove that. Some people have said Peru being in 59th is accurate but what the hell is Gabon and Equatorial Guinea doing in front of us? I didn't know they had players playing for big teams like Corinthians, Bayern and Schalke? Only one that comes to mind is Aubemeyang. EG's best player plays for fucking Middlesborough. We're down there because we're in poor form. People may not remember but we we're in 19th in 2013 and while I disagree with that personally (I'd say around 25-30) its because we aren't as bad as people make out. We finished 4th in the 2011 Copa America, Almost made it to the World Cup qualifiers with Jordan (Wikipedia won't tell you the whole story) until that disgusting match against Uruguay. After that we stopped caring and that's why we've gone so below the FIFA rankings. South America and Europe are easily the 2 best continents of football, but the difference between them is all the teams in our continent have quality except for Bolivia, but its hard to play away there because of altitude. Qualifying with San Marino, Latvia, Estonia is a joke and teams such as Panama can win against them home and away. In South America its different, its extremely difficult to qualify, and that's why we never go to World Cups. Qualifying against Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Bolivia in altitude, is such a difficult ask and I bet you Mexico, Bosnia, even England won't be able to do it (and I prove that because of England's appalling record against South American teams as of late)

Sorry for my little rant, but I'm tired of this shit. I would prefer you ask questions rather than disagree with me because I bet 90% of you haven't seen us play outside the game against England which we were missing 5 key players. I typically don't get angry over other peoples opinions, but when you haven't seen a team/player ever play and you criticize my opinion, then not only are you a clueless mongoloid c***, but also in my bad books.

I like Peru's sash stripe. Do they still have it? If not, they deserve to be 59th place.

I hate it when people say national teams like Peru are any good. All you have to do is look at the world rankings and where are they? All the way down in 59th. They can't even beat teams like Bolivia and qualify for the World Cup. They think because they have 3 players who play for European sides they must be good. Its a team game. I hate that.

Regardless if I'd had a howler here, I have very strong national pride and the whole point of that post was, how can you comment on something you know nothing about? You can't. It makes you look like a clueless twat. Our international stature has been poor as of late but we aren't as bad as people. Have similar problems claiming certain players are good outside the Premier League when people have never seen them. I bet no one will believe me when I say Alvarez Balanta is a great player.

I see what you're saying. Nobody gives a fuck about Peru, so we shouldn't comment on the place. Sounds fair.

Honestly a few times every week! The "why don't we talk about immigration?" one is most common but I guess the Ukips are putting paid to it. Seen a few ask why we don't talk about depression over Lil' Chris dying. If you want to discuss it, do so.

I loved Peru's subbuteo players when I was a nipper. The red sash was proper good. No need to apologise to me about the rant LibI didn't read it. Nothing personal, but whenever someone posts something that long I just can't be fucked to read it all. I know this says more about my limited attention span than the content of such posts.

On an British-English forum, it sounds like you're talking about the country rather than the national team here Liber.

I would absolutely contend that your national team is shit, but I'm sure the country has some redeeming features :)

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
That Ginsters advert when the football rolls to the bloke eating a sausage roll and he has a moment of terror about kicking it back, and was incredibly proud when he knocks it back 10 yards.

Who fucking writes this? Some hipster c*** from Camden who doesn't know a thing about the world outside his beardy craft beer tattoo world?

Is there a man in this country who wouldn't feel confident to tap a ball back to someone? Surely most human men would probably try and flick it up and do a couple of keepy ups before kicking it back?

It pretty much makes you want to avoid ever eating a Ginsters Pasty too, right? For fear that it'll turn you into something resembling that man.

On a side-note. We really should set up a 1FF keepy-uppy challenge (video evidence required).

edit: I've just watched it again to remind myself. Is it a racial thing? :ffs:
