arrived at the tram stop today. timetable stats that the tram will leave in 8 minutes ( was already waiting there). so i thought it would be a good idea to smoke i cigarette to bridge the time gap.
after 2 minutes the fucking tram left and the passengers couldnt pretend their Schadenfreude.
87 'fucks' and 16 minutes later the next tram arrived.
so i jumped in and we left the station.
2 stops later the tram i missed were waiting on a turnout track - broken and the passengers there were not allowed to leave the tram until we passed the stop

oh, how much i enjoyed their sullen looks

To be able to shake hands and laugh about it after having a punch up with my mate last night. Can't recall what it was over, but we traded a swollen nose (me) and a pair of busted lips (him) before getting split up.

Every weekday morning since around September of last year, I've passed a guy who's probably early to mid-20's. Long, mop-head hair, the same scruffy clothes, quite a plump chap who seemed to be getting bigger, shoulders in, head down and looking really depressed. As it turned out, he was walking ages to get wherever he was going because I've passed him at various stages of my journey but eventually he seemed to fix himself up with a really old, knackered bicycle.

At around February time, I didn't see him for a few days, which was unusual. Fast forward to a Monday and I noticed he was back to walking to his destination but with a shirt and tie on. Again, looking pretty scruffy but an improvement on usual.

As time has gone on, he's had his hair cut, lost a bit of weight, wearing a smart shirt and tie and jacket, got himself a new bike, wearing earphones now as well so presumably bought an iPod or equivalent, head up, chest out and generally seems pleased with the world.

No real point behind that, but just nice to see how a young lads demeanour has changed after picking up a job or being given an opportunity. Someone's obviously shown a bit of faith in him and you'd think from looking at him as though he's just won the lottery.

My new electric bike. I've had to get one for work but taken it out today and its been really enjoyable.

Anyone recommend a decent speaker to go on the front? I've seen a few online but hard to gauge if it will be loud enough for when you're in busy traffic.

so they 'translated' here 'tomorrowland' into 'a world beyond' ( kept the english language)

11 years ago today, Cambridge United FC went into administration.

In retrospect, it removed a lot of wasters........then along the way we came across a lot more wasters........but they moved on as well.

Having the current board, management, team and rivals (it only took 10-11 years) is a bit like finishing a prolonged course of osteopathy. You feel bruised but most of the bits seem to be working together again.
