TBF, it's a clever way to play. You'd be nuts to split to be honest so you may as well try and force the other party to choose split.

If you think about the outcomes, you have (you/opponent):

Split/Split: win 0.5
Steal/Split: win 1
Split/Steal: win 0
Steal/Steal: win 0

So of the four options, you have a better outcome on average for Stealing.

Yes, you do have a better chance, but so does the other person. Therefore they are more likely to choose steal.... so you need to convince them to split....

If the other ball was truly random then you would choose Steal every time.

Nah, in German I would say "Schleimer" or "Arschkriecher" for this. And my dictionary showed me that "toady" is one of the available translations for it (others shown are "sycophant, crawler, bootlicker, asshamster.....and so on". You get the idea? Seems I've chosen the wrong one here (and of course it was meant only as a friendly mocking and no offense. (<- I like this one )

Aye Tekken is 16-bit I think, I had that on the original PS; as I said however I haven't seen the show due to that awful idiot who thinks he's a comedian and who has to do the fun science shows as well just because he studied physics at uni. I'd watch these shows if it weren't for him.

Tekken's technically 32 bit mate, it was on the Playstation which was a 32 bit console. 16 bit is SNES/Megadrive era. That of course includes stuff like the CD-i, TurboGrafx and Neo Geo but I know of no one who owned any of those.

Aye your right, my Amiga before my PS was a 16-bit machine. Its all blurring into one these days!
