Could do with you humbling that twat Woodman today. After their good start I’ve listened to a few of his interviews recently and his arrogance has gone to new levels (didn’t know that was possible). ‘We’ll be the fittest team in this league and run all over sides’ just one of his quotes. How he’s worked that out after 2 games I’m not sure.

If they do beat you, get ready for the full squad & back room staff photo in changing room afterwards like they’ve just won FA cup.

For once, I'd love us to give the cocky non league upstarts a good pasting. But we never do, got Bromley 1-0 written all over it.

Reckon it will be industrial that might try and stream it seeing as we are not playing . Woodmann will have every trick in the book lined up

The fume when it happens is always funny as well. but in all seriousness a lot on here had Bromley on their bottom 2 predictions, they will turn a few over this season no doubt, and thoroughly piss everyone off with their antics in the process. If it wasn’t happening to your own team it would be mildly amusing

Tough question to answer that it took me at least 0.01 seconds to come up with the answer of - Yes.

We have an obvious greater level of income so would expect our budget to be bigger.

Obviously it's not always the case but general rule of thumb is bigger club has bigger budget.

Some filthy conditions for this Crewe and Swindon game. All the makings of a classic this.

First big test for our new drainage system today, pitch inspection at 2:45pm no doubt.

We've been taught an absolute masterclass in shithousery from Tranmere. Proper league 2 stuff.

We could still be playing this time tomorrow and wouldn't have scored.

Wasn’t at the game but you’re probably right. Matt who loves scoring against Rovers fluffs an early penalty and we score with just about our only effort on target. However given our currently depleted squad only able to name 5 subs, will gratefully accept a win by any means.

Watched 30 minutes of the Crewe/Swindon game and crikey they just look like 2 very poor teams

Probably something to do with the Champions elect Chesterfield ruining their confidence though maybe

Fingers crossed we can dominate possession again today.

68.4% against Bradford City.
67.7% against Colchester United.

As with those games, result is secondary.

EDIT: 1-0 Hendry with an assist from Nemane. Thank you Salford and Notts County.

This team is absolutely shameful. For the budget we’ve got, to field this shower of shit is an embarrassment.

The owners say they want promotion. If they really do they need to sack Paul Simpson. He’s scarred from last season and we’re going into games absolutely terrified of the opposition.

I’d be shocked if this doesn’t end up 4 or 5.

Tbf we have been waiting to give someone a 4 or 5 goal pasting. I was only half joking when I suggested 5-0 in this thread…

EDIT: Just as I posted, 2-0 Gilbey with another Nemane assist. Thanks x2 Notts County.

I can only apologise to anyone who was subjected to that shitshow of a game at Gresty Road. 2 poor teams who are low on confidence who wouldn't have scored if they were still playing now. Bottom half awaits both barring some massive improvements.

Being fair or not, it’s unacceptable for us to be this shit.

This is the type of performance that should get a manager sacked.

Very easy work at VP, only complaint is it should be 4 or 5-0 at half time.

Watched the first half some odd nice bits from Alex , Swindon looked alright countering at times at least they cross it tbf we just role it around and never cross . Agree about bottom half though. What I have seen- us , those 2 and Cheltenham will be bottom half barring decent recruitment in the next week .

Been completely dominant over Harrogate but not quite able to make it count as yet.

We should absolutely be winning this game, but Salford look a decent side to me and have carried some threat. In the 1st half if we'd got one we'd have got more I feel, but it's got the feel of a horrible gut punch loss with a late goal this I have to say.
These are an absolute shit house side though as well.

A defensive mix-up gifts Harrogate an easy lead completely against the run of play.

If we come out of this game without some injuries it will be a miracle as Salfords tactic has evolved into seeing which player than can kick into the car park first. Great goal by Berry though

Pretty disappointing from Vale, looked very disjointed though felt content where we were at at half time. Barrow good value to win it. Acquah’s goal was a hell of a strike.

A classic display of failing to make the most of complete dominance before throwing the game away with a defensive howler. Typical Col U and a very disappointing afternoon.

Ends up 4-0 to them. As I say the word disappointing is quite appropriate.

I'm sure our forum will have a normal one over this...

Deserved 3 points for us at Cheltenham. Scrappy second half but should have been a couple up at half time

Take a point at Fleetwood with 5 or 6 key players out. Fairly nothing game really.

3-0, Hendry/Gilbey/Tomlinson with the goals, Nemane x2 and Leigh with the assists. Thank you Salford, Notts and Accrington for those player contributions.

Only disappointment was the possession stats which have declined week after week.

67.3% today.

Embarrassing result and up there with Barnsley last season, wish we’d ditch that kit, we’ve been awful in it virtually every time.

Moore has put himself under huge pressure there, he’s very Southgate and playing too safe then only reacting at 1-0 down but making a total mess of it.

Any fans wanting us to go 2 at the back probably see why we don’t after that last 15 minutes, he has no excuse, the bench he had today on paper was ridiculous, Byers, Stockley, Smith etc and we’ve got worse when using it.

Fans are raging and a lot are calling for his head but it’s a bit early for that, for three and a half games when we’ve played our first XI we’ve barely conceded a chance let alone a goal but with some tough games to come now it’s a real pressure to bounce back quickly,

A good start has become a very poor start to the season today though and need to ensure the bubble doesn’t burst.
