Igor Stimac...when he signed for us he thought Division One meant we were in the Premier League. He also thought the Baseball Ground was a factory when he first saw it. True story.

Commanding centre back who was pivotal in our 20 odd game unbeaten run. Couldn't have started any worse though, with a 5-1 defeat at Tranmere. We were down the bottom of the table at that point, and it was after that game that the unbeaten run began, and the season ended with promotion. Not bad for a 10 year old experiencing his first ever season of football.

Eranio was just magical. Still don't know how we managed to get him to leave Milan for Derby. He's a coach for Leicester now.

David Hirst was class and if it weren't for his injury problems he'd have gone on to achieve much greater things, deserves to be on this list.

And Tony Yeboah was more entertaining in two years in this league than some of the players that are no doubt going to pop up higher in the list were in their entire careers.

Like I said, it's players I enjoy watching, and to be fair, George is up there.

Burnley fans seem to love him too. And Hull were quite fond of him. Maybe he has to play for you to love him.
