Not really how football works is it mate, plus we won that game...

We could equally say if O’Shea, Mayor, Rossiter, Adams and Maynard are on-form we will have a good chance of winning...

For the record I do think Tranmere will win, it’s a very tough fixture but I think ‘batter’ us might be a bit of a stretch, but you never know.

Norwood hasn’t scored in the last five games and the team as a whole have only hit the net in one of those five, so I don’t think it looks like the battering season. We’re certainly capable of beating Bury and will play for the win as there’s still a chance of an automatic spot. Very hard to call the outcome.

Can't see Bury taking the approach of Oldham/Newport and sitting deep, much more likely to be similar to FGR first half. First goal is crucial in this league. So few points from losing positions.

I think it will be as open as any game we have played this season. I can't see Bury sitting back with the attacking players they have got, and their relatively poor defence, and we have to go for the victory.

I think it will be important for us to stay disciplined if we don't score early.

Yep, we've certainly had the chances to win our recent games but we've been uncharacteristically inefficient. We'll have to have our shooting boots on as I'm sure Bury will score at least one tomorrow.

So I'm correct in saying Bury are up with the draw?

A Tranmere win will see them going into the final game of the season needing a win, along with MK and Mansfield, to stand a chance of going up automically?

If Tranmere fail to win, a draw for Mansfield at MK becomes acceptable for autos.

A Tranmere loss could still see them guaranteed a PO place if Newport fail to win? But if Newport win, it'll go down to the final game where they'll only miss out if they lose, Exeter win and there's a swing of 4 goals?

Whilst we obviously want to win, a draw would allow us to rest players at Crawley. Defeat would be terrible both for ending top 3 hopes but also meaning we have to take a full strength team to Crawley if Newport win tonight, not ideal playoff preparation.
