Earlier in the season Tranmere were insisting we only had him until January, now they've changed their minds - convenient

To be fair, it sounds like a right mess. Must be doing wonders for the lads confidence which already looked rock bottom when he was getting a game for us at the start of the season.

I've heard that Maidstone will sign one of our centre backs - Jamie Sendles-White and that we're apparently trying to sign a player from Thurrock.

It never worked for JSW here, we helped him back to fitness after his awful ACL injury but he has been poor overall for us. In his defence he never got to play alongside George Elokobi, Josh Coulson or Bonz N'Gala - three experienced centre backs for this level and he had to carry the side with a few of the younger CBs we have, but his defending at times was poor and cost us goals.

This is just a whisper I've heard, but I have every reason to believe its true.

Hope it’s true. There isn’t a single senior pro at the club who is more worthless to us.

I wonder if we will stop off in Hartlepool on the way back from the Heed tomorrow and pick someone up. We've been rumoured with every midfield player they have.

Ricky Miller seemingly doing himself out of a move, saw this on the BBC updates. wanting to move back to Dover??

Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony says striker Ricky Miller is "driving me mad" by turning down chances to leave the League One club.

Miller, 28, joined from Dover last summer but has not scored in 13 games.

"It hasn't worked out, we see value in him, all these clubs see value in him," MacAnthony told BBC Cambridgeshire.

"He'd prefer a move closer to home - typical footballers - but I'm not willing to do that, the club closer to home isn't even competing financially.

"Ricky's turned down about five different clubs. He's turning loads of them down and it's driving me mad because he's not going to get game time here.

"If he's going to base it on geography and whatever else he's in the wrong industry - if you're going to base moves on geography being a football player, don't play football."

Only the Southern moneybags clubs like Dover, Boreham Wood and Eastleigh etc will be able to afford him.

According to Fry yesterday, he's agreed a loan deal with a L2 Club but it'll only go through if no-one takes him permanently.

Can't see anyone taking Miller permanently with a court case looming.
loan until the end of season, then in the summer peterboro can sack him if he's guilty or sell him if not

This annoys me to be honest. Peterborough signed a contract with Miller as much as he signed it with them. If Miller WAS doing well and forcing through a move (literally the opposite case of this) then no doubt the Posh chairman would be getting all pissy saying 'players don't respect the contract' or whatever. Shoe on the other foot, why shouldn't Miller hold out for the right deal for himself rather than just go wherever Posh want him to? MacAnthony's fault for giving him a 3 year deal in the first place the dickhead.

Have Northampton found the missing 10 million down the back of the sofa. Shit or bust spending at moment.

Miller sounds like an absolute clown to be fair.
Not forgetting he missed the first six weeks of this season due to biting our full back back in March. He seems to have a screw loose. Talented but flawed is probably the polite description.

Best player I've seen at this level. Wouldn't want him anywhere near our club though.

Couple of our fans are convinced that we've signed Nicky Deverdics.

Apparently we had a deal for a centre half agreed on friday & the player was about to sign, but his club put the deal on hold due some players getting injured......was mentioned that we hoped to get the deal done this week.

I'd take Peter Sutcliffe on as a striker if he could fire us to promotion. We're desperate.

Deverdics supposedly going to Wrexham today, decent player at this level but once again a manager (if you could call him that) couldnt get the best out of his player, constantly playing him out of position.

Looks like we’re signing Marvin Ekpiteta from East Thurrock. Yeah, me either.

Bit of a rumour that Callum Howe (CB) and possibly Elliott Whitehouse (CM) are set for NL loan deals.

Howe wouldn't be a surprise at the minute but Whitehouse would from a numbers point of view unless we're do business in that area today.

Chesterfield or Grimsby. He always stays local (well, bar Cambridge for a season).

Christian Doidge to Tranmere?!?

Don’t know why we’d spend actual money on that and surely league two clubs will be after him. Can’t be much legs in it.

Leon Osman rumours doing their bi-annual rounds as per.

Only thing we need is a centre back/right back cover.
