Walker is definitely being offloaded to Wrexham or any other side that can afford his stupid wages that he barely deserved. Artell dropped a huge bollock with that signing.

Not good enough for us even though some of our ridiculous fans mysteriously rate him. Our fans did the same with Chris Atkinson who went from League One reserve player to the eighth tier with Farsley in 6 months. They seem to think a player exiled from the side makes them automatically good when they can't even get into a side that loses games.

I can't wait to see the back of him as he's not good enough for the league and the Hartlepool fans were right the moment we signed him. Thankfully we're signing a replacement for him and then I assume we'll make Walker's departure permanent.
Yeah we'll take him ta, been class here.

He’s definitely good enough to play in League 2 - perhaps even higher. He’s been superb for us. Fingers crossed he does sign.

Not a chance, he looked slow and out of his depth in this division compared to the class of Paul Green, a man who I believe is 13 years his senior or something like that. He wouldn't even get on our bench these days.

If you hopefully go up (which I do hope happens because we need the old local sides back) then you might find out for yourselves.

Our fans do get very carried away at times so I'd be wary of calling him the next Xavi like most, so I'll take your word for it as you've seen him in the league.

Although to be fair, Crewe were hardly a successful club last season so I doubt anyone could have looked any good. He's only 22 years old so he's got years left. Some players fit certain clubs if they get the support, I doubt we care what he's done elsewhere. All that can be said is that he's been outstanding for us and he is certainly a class act from what I've seen, the game looks easy to him in this league. He's integral to how good we've been to be honest, the role he plays is key. Barrow absolutely loves him as well.

We were crap for two thirds of the season I'll admit. But soon as George Ray returned from injury and Paul Green came into the side over Michael Raynes and Brad Walker respectively we miraculously improved and finished the last third of the season 3rd in the form table after Accrington and Luton.

It's also no coincidence that Raynes, as well as Walker, will almost certainly be shipped out from the club to a National League side this month as well if there are any takers for him. Believe Salford wanted him at one point but unsure if they still do now.

I wish him well in the future and if he gets you back into the league it's money well spent for you lot and I hope that happens.

Artell effectively cost us promotion to where you are now so I'd like to think he owes us one on this, i.e. a cheap deal.

I’m glad Crewe fans don’t rate Walker as it makes it more likely we can sign him - the fact is that if he was already our player clubs much higher in the pyramid than Crewe would be looking at him based on his performances, and he wouldn’t be our player for long. For whatever reason it has clicked for him here.

Found out today that Jay Simpson is 80% likely to join us, money apparently not an issue for both sides, should be sorted by the weekend apparently, but I wait with hope.

The potential deal for Maguire-Drew is apparently nowhere near, but it is a likely option.

We definently bid for Corey Whitely and he is the preferred choice - Ebbsfleet happy to sell but only for an inflated price, we was told to offer more money.

I see Nathan Arnold has tweeted he is looking for a club after leaving Boston United earlier this season.

We want 75k apparently, although not sure how true. Will be a really big loss for us, although it may pave the way for a new signing or two.

Grant's loan has finished with us. There is some talk about keeping him, but considering we currently play him as part of the front three, I wouldn't miss him. If we played him in midfield or a supporting another striker such as Quigley, I would think better of him staying.

in his post match interview he says in the month he has been here he loves it and has unfinished business. has also spoken to Spencer Harris about a deal, but has mentioned there are other clubs interested

Grant's rejoining your boys.

Now been confirmed as a permanent signing.

A good one for us considering he's still only 28 and has, up until Barton turned up, been a regular in a League One side for the past 3 seasons.

A good player, and am sure he'll improve having been frozen out at Fleetwood for a while, but he's not really what we need. I wouldn't have both him and Beavon in the front-three, and everyone adores Beavon so..

Hopefully he'll be in the midfield three if we get a striker soon.

Virgil Gomis from Forest supposedly the next loan striker heading to Barrow. Had a month at Braintree this season - anyone see him play?

We've put a bid in for a striker and a number seem to think it's Jason Oswell of Morecambe. Given his record at Stockport, I'd take him here. Unsure what's gone wrong with him at his new club mind but we wouldn't have a sniff if he was playing regularly there.

There's also some nutters who think we'll bring Danny Rowe here.

Rumour that he's going to sign a 2.5 year contract with someone that's why loan has been terminated. Either you or Dagenham would be my guess.

I would see him as the complete opposite of an Edinburgh player to be honest. Lightweight, generally unfit, zero work-rate and plays in flashes (albeit is capable of genius moments). He's got proper talent but maybe he only plays well down south. I'd reckon both Brophy and Dayton are better than him.
Having had a great season at Dagenham the year before, we expected great things when we took JMD on loan for our first season back in the League. He turned up overweight and was generally useless and lazy. Danny Cowley allegedly wrote "GET BACK" on his wrists, such was his inability to understand his defensive responsibilities. 2.5 years is at least 2 years too many. Complete waste of talent.

For your sake I hope he is only able to play in East London.

Some guesswork going on at our place around who Big Sol is likely to let leave in Jan. General consensus is that both Jared Hodgkiss and Keith Lowe will be moved on, I'm sure they'd both do a good job for a promotion chaser down here.

Oh and if someone would mind paying us some money for Peter Vincenti, that would be very nice.

Not content with doing the dirty on Wrexham once, Ricketts seems to want to take Brad Walker to Shrewsbury with him now.

Absolutely not good enough for League One. They're welcome to him if they cough up mind.

Now Jordan Archer is being banded about by some posters who have been right before on our forum. Rather underwhelming if true.

I don't know a lot about him but his record at Maidenhead and Southport doesn't really set the world alight.

He's definitely signed. Quite pleased with it but I recall Stockport fans suggesting he's not quite the complete striker and has a bit missing from his all round game.

Ah yes seen the picture of him with Spencer Harris at the ground.

We need to tie up Walker now. His signing is very important.

Andrew Davies being linked with a move back to Scotland this month, excellent defender at this level but always injured, only played about 12 times this season, if Dundee wanna spend money on him then we're best off cashing in before his leg falls off.
