I see Club(s) have started bidding for Moses Emmanuel at Bromley.

Suggestion on our forum that Grimsby might buy Armand Gnanduillet from Chesterfield. We had him on a month loan last season, a bit hit and miss, but not bad at this level. Doesn't seem an archetypal Grimsby player though.

So we could have Armand, Amond and Arnold playing in the same team.....!

What a 6ft 4 black striker isn't a Grimsby player?

That is where you are wrong my friend.

Saw somewhere about Cheltenham trying to sign Brian saah, let's just see how they do with Downes out!

Apparently Lincoln have stuck a bid in for our striker Shaun Tuton.

This is the tinpot thread right?

Pretty sure that's come from a tongue in cheek post over on LCB as opposed to being a serious one.

Why exactly.
Gnanduilet is a bit of a loose canon in a footballing sense; for example his first game for us saw a shot at goal go out near the corner flag for a throw-in. Find it difficult to see him fitting into the current Grimsby line-up.

Gnanduliet was superb for Chesterfield in a Pre Season Friendly last season. Scored a Hattrick and set the other up in a 4-0 win.

Interesting. Surprised it isn't Jones.

I'd hope so. Going to Lincoln would turn him into a journeyman. Fella's scored over one a game since Harvey took the reigns.

Interesting. Surprised it isn't Jones.

Jones was offered a deal at Cheltenham in the summer (he'd been with Gary Johnson at Yeovil) but turned it down to stay with us. Maybe Johnson decided it wasn't worth trying again.

Anyway, given that we're well in the running for the play-offs, I can't imagine we'd let Saah go in the transfer window unless we received the kind of offer that you don't turn down for a 29 year old.

Ah yes, had forgotten about their interest in Jones in the summer. Knowing what Garry Hill is like, he won't let anyway player go in the window unless the fee is right e.g. Theo Lewis - even though he wasn't one of our better players.

Good to see another Woking fan on here. :hail:

Hurst cannot function without a striker of that sense starting every game.

And what a shite signing that turned out to be! Granted we were abysmal under Day last season but he had one good game. Not been given a chance this season and is at Havant for the rest of the season.

Ben Tomlinson's loan spell at Tranmere ends and it doesn't look like he's got much future at the Hive, will be loaned out or sold on.

I expect a Conference sides to be interested in players leaving Barnet. Kevin Lisbie, Mauro Vilhete and Andy Yiadom has also been released

Only Lisbie has been released.
Tomlinson and Vilhete available for Loan\Transfer but Tomlinson has already played at 3 clubs so can only go to a Conf North\South or lower.
Yiadom is available for transfer but someone would have to pay a fee and is likely to either be bought by a League one side or leave in the summer at the end of his contract.

Only way back into football at this level or L2 would be a permanent signing.

Just seen off some twitter account that Shaun Barker (ex Derby) is training with Lincoln as a way back in to football after his, well, injury hell.
