They were, allegedly. I'm not sure he's done enough in his two loan spells at Tranmere and with you to give anyone near the top any motivation or reasoning to sign him on. Shame really, would have loved for him to have succeeded with us.

It's just been confirmed by the club that Blissett has been released. Wonder which Conference team will take a punt on him. A return to Kiddie maybe?

Doubt we can afford his wages and Gordon and Hockaday are trying to move us on from people involved in the previous regime. £70k well spent Bristol Rovers!

Wouldn't know what he was on here, I can't imagine it was loads considering we at the point of signing him had moved away from offering ludicrous deals to players.

We signed him on the premise of having our very own Akinde. Big, strong, athletic and fast. He seemed far too gangly for it. Plenty of times he managed to trip over himself. Would have liked him to work out here because he comes across as a nice person. We've just ended up with 3 strikers who are better than him and potentially adding a fourth in this window.

Holman seems to have had a load of clubs down here in the past year. He's clearly quality so I'm not sure why he's not settled anywhere.

He's our top scorer, but his strike rate to chances available isn't great. Forest Green fans seem to think he's better played out wide than as the main striker, where we've used him.

Apparently we've signed Chris Chantler, a left back (which we don't need) previously of Man City (played a few mins in Europa League), Carlisle and most recently Kilmarnock. Suffered with a fair few injuries since leaving City by the looks of it from other reports.

No idea if this if official, seems a strange one seens as David Fitzpatrick has just signed a contract until end of the season and has been superb for us so far, though this Chantler does come with a decent pedigree.

Saw him play for Carlisle against Rovers and he looked half-decent, but does seem injury prone. Think can play left midfield as well.

Back page on the local paper today. Cox says: "We've got to be respectful while he is a Lincoln player but he is one I would like to work with again in the future."

He says that Lincoln wanted him back "for whatever reason", but he'll see what happens over the next few months.

Also wants to keep Nick Wilmer-Anderton
