He played several games for us under Thorn. He was woeful. It was also later revealed he and Andy Thorn shared an agent, who negotiated in an obscene agents fee into his contract. We were still paying it off this season. Not necessarily through any fault of his own, but Ladapo is not popular round here.Has anyone actually seen Ladapo play more than once or twice?

Fair play - though I'm willing to bet that most criticising him have seen him once about five years ago. There were people in Barrow who didn't rate Grant Holt or Glenn Murray on the strength of one or two games...
I guessed it probably had been, it's a move that makes sense. That's been a regular rumour for the last few months.
Tbf, people say Grant Holt was shite for us as well.
Andy Cook has had interest from "a number of clubs" and seems like he could be on his way. He's North-East based, and I wouldn't be syrprised to see a League 2 team take a chance as he's a totally different option to what most teams will already have in their squad.
Speaking at a meet the manager night, Cox said that he had new players signed and sealed for next season (which bodes well, when pretty much every season we have no new faces until late July) - would imagine that would probably be Sutton from Tranmere (been very good for us) and Ben Tomlinson (hit and miss).
Sutton has a year left on his contract so possibly not (unless an agreement has been made with Tranmere), but Tomlinson I think is out of contract in the summer so may well be one of them. Miekle may be one if his contract in conf north is only until the end of the season though
Cook has obviously had a great couple of seasons with you since leaving us, but has he had many droughts? As has been mentioned by a few of us over the course of this season, he never managed to shrug off periods of bad form for us with any real conviction. It didn't help that he got benched for long periods of time when this happened though. I'm just wondering if this hasn't happened to him at Barrow, or did he just get the chances to ride it out in the starting lineup when his form dipped? Going off his time with us, I can't see him being a great addition to a L2 side that will have more strength in depth than yourselves or most Conference teams. Don't get me wrong though, I liked him for us and rated him and wanted Hurst to keep the faith with him more than he did. Is the general consensus among Barrow fans that he is good enough to step up a division?Andy Cook has had interest from "a number of clubs" and seems like he could be on his way. Might want to check the league two table and see where Accrington are! May not be there next season unbelievably. He's had his droughts, but kept his place in the side (lack of better options, but also a willingness to let him ride it out) - this season though, he's barely had a bad game and has improved a lot. I'm not saying he's necessarily good enough for League 2, but if a scout had been at Holker Street on two or three occasions to watch him, he's definitely put in performances where you'd think he could play much higher up.
I think most people see him as a Conference striker that will grab 20 goals in any side - sometimes that's good enough for the likes of Accrington and Morecambe though.

How's that happened!?
Could revise that to say Carlisle instead, I guess.
If you substituted Braintree for FGR would be closer to the mark. A small non-bankrolled side punching above it's weight.Accrington getting into League 1 would almost be as bad as FGR getting promoted to League 2
Not sure how. Accrington don't have a benefactor to my knowledge.
