Stranger things have happened. He has several. We Are Sailing, Cashis, Carsonsuckscock...
Their supporters acted in a fashion I would consider embarrassing at Chelsea last week. Everyone's saying it.
Not happy at being lumped into the perceived shit poster pile, it really is an injustice sticking me alongside somebody called Carsonsuckscock. He has several. We Are Sailing, Cashis, Carsonsuckscock...
It makes you wonder what lengths Stocky would go to to ensure that people absolutely do not ever fucking enjoy themselves. Hanging around kids playgrounds, smacking any kid around the head who dares raise a voice in merriment? Watering down the beer in any pub in sight, smashing up the speakers and shouting at every passing stranger about how he wouldn't want Tshimanga anyway. Where is the limit in this personal crusade?!It was touch and go whether we were going to be allowed back into Chesterfield to be honest. Bricks and bags of dog shit being thrown at the returning coaches, home-made banners hung from house windows with "shame" written in marker pen. At one point, i saw a guy wave his fist at us whilst shaking his head......scary, scary times.
A lesson learned for all Spireites.

No offence, Carsonsuckscock.

If you think this is direct just wait til our lord and saviour Tom Denton returns next month. Not sure what has caused the stir. Direct football is effective in this league. Tshimanga is the best individual striker in the league and his numbers back it up. He will cause us problems I'm sure when we play Chesterfield.
There is nothing wrong with direct football at all. There's no right or wrong way to play the game.
Definitely ending up at Aldershot or somewhere. Not a rumour but anyone after a striker?
Big Mike Fondop the mentalist is on the prowl for a new club, released by us today.

I think we knock it about quite well to be fair, but can mix it up when we need too which is also good. The fact most of Kabongoals/Penbongo's goals have been tap ins quashes that fact anyway. He's a very good striker btw to get back on topic, one we will struggle to keep hold off. We can fend off Hearts though I reckonIf you think this is direct just wait til our lord and saviour Tom Denton returns next month.
In all seriousness I don’t think we do play ‘direct’ football in the sense that Wrexham do. It’s certainly not Burchball pass teams to death but we play with two holding midfielders behind two attacking midfielders with wing backs. We’ve been forced to move the ball from back to front quicker than we did last season because we’ve been without Jack Clarke and Danny Rowe who are our two most technical players. We still play some nice stuff mind.
Hearts fans on their forum reckon he’s worth about £50k. They also think they could’ve got him for free in the summer.I think we knock it about quite well to be fair, but can mix it up when we need too which is also good. A minority did and I seem to remember that LEAGUE ONE (that's two leagues above us btw) Bolton were roughly mid table at the time. Oh and if we'd had a pitch invasion whilst getting humped 4-0 at home by Solihull would that have been OK? Seriously though let's face it all clubs 'have got 'em'.Didnt you boys invade the fucking pitch after beating LEAGUE ONE strugglers Bolton?
Don’t come on here calling anyone tinpot after that absolute shit show, I was embarrassed for you
I don't think he would want to go to Hearts anyway.
But.... if a championship side came sniffing i can see the interest then.
He has certainly been a shrewd investment. He will pretty much bag you the title if he stays (and stays fit for the remainder)..and if by some cruel twist of fate, Halifax beat you to it and Boreham Wood gazump you in the playoffs, you can make a pretty profit in the summer...
Nah, Its lower championship level at the most...That Premier division has the widest standard of teams in any division!I think you’re underestimating how big of a step up Hearts would be from any club at this level. Doubt they’ve got the money, though.

FWIW I don’t think Kabby will go this Jan, but I do think he will go in the summer. He’s got 20 in 21 games. If he gets 30 goals and we don’t go up, a league 1 side will still come calling and he will go. If he gets 30 goals and we do go up he will still likely be sold but at least he’s got us back into the football league and made £ for the club.
At the time we bought him I thought the touted fee was a bit of a risk, but it turns out it has been an excellent investment.

I merely think he won't want to go to Hearts simply because its in Scotland. I think he can make a better name for himself progressing through the English Leagues.
Though he is slowly moving North i guess.....
I think you’re right with regards both Kabby and James Rowe. They will both move on at some stage and I can see Rowe going in the summer if we win the league. I’d take that if it means we are back in the football league. Replacing both will be challenging but it is a nice potential problem to have compared with our long list of sacked managers and failed centre forward signings (Sylvan Ebanks Blake and Chris Ogrady come to mind).I agree I think you're pretty safe this January. I think you'd have to have a really high bid to even contemplate selling (and that really limits the amount of clubs likely to make a big). I doubt you have any financial pressures and even if he was interested in going elsewhere the club could agree to let him go in the summer (when he will still command a decent fee) I can't see Chesterfield hamstringed the promotion charge by letting their key asset go.
The bigger risk is James Rowe going at some point between now and the end of the season, if a big club come in for him. But equally I'm sure he wpuld like to get a promotion on his CV and if he does the offers will probably be better.
Good points. The overall standard probably is lower Championship, but Hearts are a massive club with great support, regularly qualify for Europe etc. I think any National League player would want to move there. Decent shop window for the Premier League too, probably more so than the top of League One.
Can see why the asking price is so high. One man team aren't you?Why is a £950k valuation ‘MAD’ for Tshimanga??
Every club in this league would love him, every club in the league above would love him, and I’m fairly certain a good proportion of teams in the league above that would love him too. The man’s got 20 league goals in 21 games and he is absolutely loving his time here and his football.
If any team wants him, meet the valuation… or move onto other targets. We’re in a very strong position, he’s sat on a contract that has two and half years remaining on it… (summer 2024)
If you want my honest opinion, he’s worth even more to us than that. An absolute goal machine
P.s. before anyone starts going on about how ‘Vardy only went for £1m’… let’s not forget that football has come a very very long way since then in terms of finances, and also at the time that was seen as an extremely good deal for fleetwood. It’s only looked back on as an absolute steal because of what he went on to achieve.
Best bit of business we did in the summer as it turns out. Pissed at the time but we've got Waters upfront now. Not a finisher like Hyde but more importantly he doesnt snap his hamstring everytime he runs for the ball and doesn't whinge like a 9 year old when someone doesn't give him the ball.Definitely a blunder signing Jake Hyde when Tshimanga was available. Maybe we only wanted to spend the big bucks on proven league players, as that's where most of the money appears to have gone. We paid a fee for Jake Hyde but it was probably something ridiculously low like 20k, as Halifax were probably happy to get him off the books in the end with his injury record.
That isn't a dig at Hyde's ability which he clearly has, but his injury record is atrocious. Pointless having anyone like that in the squad.
