I'm better than Liam Dickinson. No joke. How did he play for some fairly decent clubs?!

We had a bid turned down for Bradshaw today as well, I'm told.

Either the panic button was hit today, or they've realised that everyone else is doing business and we're doing nowt. Either or.

Did you lot loan him off us?

Paid like a million and then he hardly ever played. Must have been utter shite in training.

See, people kicking off at our spending this season should take note of the fee's we've paid for the likes of Dickinson, Varney and Sammon in our recent cost cutting years!!

He's ok, will run all day (if his legs are still up to it) but he's not a game changer.
Quite glad he's not signed for us then, he's been training with us last few weeks. Just didn't seem like a good move.

An unnamed Championship club bid for Bradshaw today...according to the Birmingham Mail (who reported it) it was Birmingham. £650k.

SOD came out in the press shortly after and said the club hadn't received a single bid for any of our players so far this month.

So most likely press bollocks trying to sell papers. You can double £650k at least before he leaves.

Reports that you've also turned down £1M from us as JJH mentions. We've also had a bid for Clough (£2.5M) accepted supposedly and are bidding for Russell from Derby (£2.5M).
About friggin' time 'n' all.

I think Clough's going to snub us. Bolton will get another offer for him of a similar fee, and he'll hold out for a club in a better position.

It's another unrealistic signing attempt, again.

See you all in two pages time when it's announced another striker has turned us down.

Some reports that we're going to bid for him. Personally don't think it's true.

In bad news for Brentford fans, seems the loan of Jota to Eibar seems to have legs, likely he'll leave in the next couple of weeks. Massive shame, aside from Judge our best player left at the club, and one of the few creative players we have left, need to make sure he stays.

JJH is reyt, he's not interested in City, that's not a dig before the posse forms, he is ambitious and wants top end of our league or lower end premier, source is decent, put it this way it is a current Wanderers player

Have a feeling we had him first but not sure. Where did he go after Stockport? Brighton?

Edit: nope, was you and we loaned him from you.

Don't surprise me mate. I won't slaughter the club for it, it's worth a punt as he isn't in the same calibre of player we went after in the summer, Gray, Maguire, Gayle etc - but he's a young'un and he's bound to attract greater interest. We're not an attractive proposition at the foot of the table, and this is all a consequence of our shit summer. We messed it up from there.

He'd be a fool to come here, and if he does it's going to be forced upon him for the money that the club need.

No chance we're selling Russell

After our recent purchases I fear losing him. Hope not as he's a bit of a hero. Decent Championship player but is he much more? 2.5 million would be a good return but I don't want him to go.

Aye that's all can see happening, Bolton basically forcing him if no one else matches you.

Our new approach is too bid far higher than any other club, in hope that the player gets bullied into coming here by their parent club.

It is a real shame though. Because I do feel like we're 3-4 signings off having a very competitive team in this league.

Benik Afobe all but signed for Bournemouth. Been a great year we've had of him and wish him all the best.

Very despondent with Wolves at the moment. The club is up for sale and nobody wants to buy us. The board show no ambition and are happy for us to turn into a selling club.

I fear there are dark days ahead for Wolves. The club needs a buyer, and fast.

Hold up 8m profit is fucking exceptional, you punched above your natural weight last season (not in club size but on the back of promotion with that squad)....patience is the key, as we bloody well know.

Edit when we had Afobe I'd have never seen him go for 7 figures ne'er mind 8, proof English strikers are utterly over fucking priced

Oh yeah, it's a great fee no doubt, snap your hands off at 10m. As much as I despise Jez Moxey, he always seems to get a decent transfer fee when selling our players (the only thing he does good for the club).

My issue is that we will hardly see any of the 10m spent on a replacement. Most will be split between the board for a job well done on turning 2m into 10m in the space of 12 months. I seriously doubt we'll spend over 2m to replace him.

Maybe I'm just bitter that were in an age where we sell our best players to fucking Bournemouth.

Just waiting for the board to come out and say were selling Afobe for 'footballing reasons' (Stearman esc) lol.

The most worrying aspect of all this is that after last weeks win at Brighton, KJ came out and said 'Siguardarson coming back feels like a new signing'...

Jesus wept.
