An unnamed Championship club bid for Bradshaw today...according to the Birmingham Mail (who reported it) it was Birmingham. £650k.

In bad news for Brentford fans, seems the loan of Jota to Eibar seems to have legs, likely he'll leave in the next couple of weeks. Massive shame, aside from Judge our best player left at the club, and one of the few creative players we have left, need to make sure he stays.

I won't slaughter the club for it, it's worth a punt as he isn't in the same calibre of player we went after in the summer, Gray, Maguire, Gayle etc - but he's a young'un and he's bound to attract greater interest. We're not an attractive proposition at the foot of the table, and this is all a consequence of our shit summer. We messed it up from there.

He'd be a fool to come here, and if he does it's going to be forced upon him for the money that the club need.

Our new approach is too bid far higher than any other club, in hope that the player gets bullied into coming here by their parent club.

It is a real shame though. Because I do feel like we're 3-4 signings off having a very competitive team in this league.

Oh yeah, it's a great fee no doubt, snap your hands off at 10m. As much as I despise Jez Moxey, he always seems to get a decent transfer fee when selling our players (the only thing he does good for the club).

My issue is that we will hardly see any of the 10m spent on a replacement. Most will be split between the board for a job well done on turning 2m into 10m in the space of 12 months. I seriously doubt we'll spend over 2m to replace him.

Maybe I'm just bitter that were in an age where we sell our best players to fucking Bournemouth.
