Theirs only Paul Robinson and Jonathan Grounds who are the obvious weak links in our first XI, both will probably be replaced by the end of the transfer window. Matt Mills and Bojan Jokic aside, I'd say that we have a better team overall than Forest, player for player.

I don't know enough about your team to dispute that, but I'm not having Paul Caddis as better than anyone in our team . Thug, makes Paul Robinson look cultured.

Buckley has more than enough ability at this level, but is notoriously fragile when it comes to confidence/motivation (along with physically as well tbf). Maybe Rowett will be the man to get his career going again.

We've signed Steve Sidwell from Stoke by the looks of it. Nothing confirmed yet and not sure if it's loan/permanent but that Peter O'Rourke fella seems fairly certain it's done.

Fabbrini would be a cracking signing for Brum, looked brilliant whenever I've seen Boro play this season

Caddis is a wind-up merchant, even had the notoriously passive Reading fans frothing with venom.

16 goals in 144 for a right-back isn’t too shabby.

Seems that we have agreed a fee in principle with Watford for Fabbrini but they can’t recall him without the acquiescence of Middlesbrough.

Believed we're paying £1m for Marcus Olsson. 250k up front.

Been confirmed now as a loan. Only took you 13 years to re-sign him!

I love how you're now confirming the up front fee, just to convince us that you're actually compliant with FFP

Even if they do go up - we'll still find out next Christmas.

I've no idea if they have broke FFP or not, but I find it hard to believe they can spend over 23m and not be close or over the line

it's a gamble, FFP has basically done the opposite of what it set out to do

I don't think that FFP has been on our agenda since September, just a decent deal this one.

Just had a look on the Preston forums and for some reason they think we only want £800k for Bradshaw and that they have all of the insider Walsall knowledge that we've received bids from many different clubs for Tom.

Firstly we've received no bids for anyone, secondly we're looking at £2m+ for Tom, not £800k ffs

You can replace Preston with Bristol City and Bradshaw with Dack and there you have pretty much an exact replica of the situation we had last week!

Bollocks to paying anything over £1m for Bradshaw, hope we stay clear personally.

Local paper reports that Derby are putting in a bid for one of our defenders.

They need to concede fewer goals, and they're going after a Bournemouth defender?

No names given, but speculation is Sylvan Distin. One of our highest earners, but has been somewhat disappointing and cannot move anymore. Wins lots of headers though. We're likely to be receptive to anything Derby might propose.
