Any of the Swansea reserves any good?
:hypo:
Marvin Emnes would be alright for any side in this league actually!

Not sure he's a striker though, think he plays in behind.

I wonder if the interest in Grabban was to cover for the loss of JK? We certainly made contact by all accounts.

No idea, but I'd be more than happy if we sold Kodjia and replaced him with Grabban. Would cost a fair whack for a 28 year old mind.

Hahaha, that was easy, and didn't take long for you to resort to insults. What a guy.

Says more about you than me when you go fishing on a Sunday evening. You're very dull JJH, like your club, very very beige with no history.

If you're serious about a job in journalism I'd probably learn the English language a little better boy.

Linked with James Chester in the papers today, yes please.

Fulham have enquired about Keogh, Russell and Martin too apparently. Unless they're willing to pay daft money I don't think they'll be moving anywhere.

Preparation in using the McCormack cash and whatever else we have

As much as it's lovely of you to have an opinion on me Walkley, I quite frankly couldn't care less.

You can speak all you like about your history, and how you grew up watching Wednesday in the top flight, and how your attendances are still alright after 16 years of being mildly average, but you're still competing in a league with Burton Albion and the like.

Seeing as you're the main one that moans about the City posts in this thread, I won't bother moving it anymore. You can educate yourself further on our 'beige and dull' club.

Thanks mate, try not to blow your load and post an abusive response.

So you'll allow threads to be dominated by your shite but ban folks who complain or go against the grain (SERNWA) seems a good approach for a moderator. Hopefully your club will have an another abject season and you'll be sat moaning across all threads.

Have a good evening fella.

SERNWA was banned for his vile ableist remarks that he had no shame in posting. He posted one the other day as well, it's only a matter of time before he's gone again.

Developed quite the hatred, haven't you? Bless, likewise mate.

No hatred. Just bored of this place becoming OTIB 2.

Hope Kodjia leaves just to see the meltdown.

Reflection of the numbers we have on here. Nothing I can do about it.

As I said earlier, would cash in on Kodjia anyway. If not, it would be great if he scores a hat-trick at Hillsborough and cock waves infront of the half empty Kop.

You'd hope that no-one would travel out of protest at the prices that your c*** of an owner charges fans of a working man's game, but that's a debate for another day.

I'm sure it'll be 25 quid for you lot, cheaper than we pay at yours.

Will be £25 on a Tuesday at ours, but you charging us £25 - I'll believe that when I see it.

Brighton, Bolton and Charlton were 20 quid last year, you should be too and would be wrong if not.

Lots of rumours today:
Fulham have been linked with Keogh, Martin & Russell. They've also been linked with Forsyth and Hendrick this window too.

I do find this very strange, I have to admit. Keogh is in the last year of his contract, but he's the captain and our player of the season. Martin has been our top goalscorer for the past three seasons, scoring just under one goal every two games. Russell, I could see leaving for silly money, but I doubt anyone would be willing to pay what we would require. Forsyth is more than likely going to be our first choice left back again, now he's fit. Hendrick, I could have seen leave before the Burnley interest, but now the price is seemingly at £10m it just seems ludicrous.

All five would take serious, serious money. I imagine all five would want eye watering wages to leave a top six side for a bottom six side, too.

James Chester - I'd definitely like to see us sign him. I think he's a good Premier League defender, never mind for the Championship. £6m would be a great fee for him too. It said he is keen to work with Pearson again, but there's a number of Premier League clubs that would take him.

David Nugent - I'd like to sign him, for a reasonable fee. I think he'd be the cover for Martin we severely lack. I do think he'd cost too much to come sit on the bench, especially when we already have Bent doing a fine job of that.

James Wilson - I do think we should go all out to sign him on a permanent basis. He has tons of potential and it would be good to get him in the squad and allow him to challenge Bent & Martin for a first team spot. I don't know if a loan is good for anyone, but I'd take him on a permanent basis all day long.

Definitely think he'll end up spending the season in the championship agian and Ibra's arrival and Rashford's emergence has diminished his chances of succeeding at Utd, think he will want to move on to push on his career. Will be excellent for who he ends up with.

I thought Wilson was poor for Brighton last season, certainly below the level I expected of him.
