You're close to signing the ultimate piece to shore you up.... Joleon Lescott.
It's taking us months to sort out a deal with Sunderland re. Bridcutt's wages. Pie in the sky to think we'll organise a deal for Lescott.

As for Buckley, he was clearly unfit here but didn't look very quick so if he's lost that permanently then he's not going to be at that level again. Didn't see much of his Birmingham spell though.

President of Benfica in attendance at our game today, supposedly to wrap up the €25m deal for Anderson Talisca.

Lansdown has just said that we will not sell Kodjia to another Championship team, and if a Premier League team wants him it's £10m plus.

Pleased with the signing of Will Buckley, if anyone can get the best out of him it's got to be Carlos. The wing was definitely an area we needed more quality so happy it's been addressed, think another covering left/centre back and we're done.

Please do though... Just this once. We're giving him away for free after all.

Tom Lees and Nahki Wells linked.

Pearson confirmed we have bids in for players at the weekend, I'm sure it'll become evident who they are this week.

Did wonder whether a club might fork out the big money for Wells, or at least test Huddersfield's resolve. Personally don't think he's quite in the same league as the likes of Gray and Wilson before him who are similar sort of strikers that also came from the lower divisions.

Few of our fans have optimistically been suggesting him now it appears we have that sort of money to spend on one player, and the fact we're crying out for a pacy poacher to act as foil for Hemed/Murray. Not the sort of signing we'd make though.

Think if a Prem team came in and bought Kodjia for the £10m+ we're asking then it's possible we'd go for Wells, otherwise I'd see us going for a Kodjia type signing, i.e a top scorer from one of the European second division.

Palace were linked with Kodjia today for £12m, but I don't see anyone silly enough to spend that on him.

Whether you'd accept or whether he'd even want to move is another story all together, but has nothing to do with whether we'd try which could be entirely possible if we'd just received £10m plus.

You're looking at £10M for Tom Lees, no way we'd sell him to you anyway nor would I see the point in him going.

We don't need him so not sure why we're interested if there's substance behind it. Same with Wells to be honest.

Would take serious money for us to let Lees go

Bradley Johnson not in Derby's plans, was said that he'll never play for them again. Would be worth a punt for any side down here.

Worth a punt? He'd be quality for most teams in this league.

If our midfield wasn't already as ridiculous as it is I'd love Bradley Johnson here. Plus it's been a couple of years since we had a Johnson so we're due one.

Izzy Brown of Chelsea and Dominic Ball of Spurs the latest players to be on our radar.

Also Leon Osman in a possible player/coach role.

Brown's a winger/striker as well isn't he? If Abraham's brief cameo is anything to go by on Saturday, it'd be worth having a look at some of Chelsea's young strikers.

Think so, Stubbs seems to have an obsession with midfielders though.

Club confident of getting Liam Moore, despite Leicester now offering him a new contract and interest from other Champ clubs.

Sounds like we're trying to sign a CB, fullback and ST before the Summer is done, to bring us up to 11 new signings. Still haven't brought in any loanees so i'd imagine the striker being one.
