It would be silly of us to let Sharp go when we're lacking in goals and under transfer restrictions, but we did let Warnock go despite him being our only experienced left-back. To be fair, he's hardly had a chance so far.

Looks like Martin Olsson is on his way to Swansea. Not too bothered by it. He's a decent left back but he's not irreplaceable especially with Garrido at back up who is good enough for this level.

We're being linked with a loan move for Grealish in our local paper. Can't see any legs in this though unless one of our first teamers is on the way out, we are very well stocked in that area.

We've signed young striker Chris Long on loan from Everton. No idea if he is any good but finally we have another option upfront to take some of the load off Andre Gray.

Ouch.

Thought you were doing alright for strikers with Wells and Vaughan?

Vaughan has a broken face or something now, another to add to his list. We can never rely on him, and now we've lost Holt, and sold Stead and Ward, we just have Wells, so I think getting a reasonable striker before February is what will be the difference between where we are now and another relegation scare.

Peltier to Cardiff is funny :D Half the player he was. I like Russell Slade but boy is he out of his depth.

Nixon says we're set to sign Christian Atsu on loan from Chelsea :dk:

Apparently he's currently at Everton (and now away at the AFCON's), but Chelsea want him playing more games.

Back in for Glenn Murray now Crystal Palace are looking for a new striker.

Would ideally want loan, rumours of a full £2m transfer though.

That would be an outstanding signing, although cant see him dropping down to this league. He was great for Ghana in the World Cup.

He plays for Chelsea, no doubt Karanka and their feeder club will get him if any Championship club do.

We've signed Milos Veljikovic from Spurs on loan until the end of the season. Never heard of him.

Believe it or not, no.

Which makes me suspicious.

Lloyd Dyer has joined Birmingham on loan until the end of the season. Extra depth is always good, and I'm much happier with Rowett's cautious approach to transfers after Lee Clarks patented transfer policy.

Kenny Jacket says he's hoping to bring one more player in before the window closes, in his words 'probably a striker'. If we do get someone in, it could spell the end for Leon Clarke' Wolves career, what a shame that would be.

We've signed David Edgar on loan untill the end of the season, probably with a view to offering a deal.

Nixon reporting we're close to signing Le Fondre, not Maynard!

According to various sources we've had a third bid rejected by Birmingham for Gray.

Looks like we've signed that Kayal fella from Celtic who was apparently quite good for them a couple of years back. In-yer-face centre-mid type. We've also released a midfielder, Toko Nzuzi, who we only signed this summer, and has barely kicked a ball for us. A bizarre signing all round.

Really stepping up our interest in Gray from Birmingham apparently- Sky reported yesterday a deal had been agreed with it seems they completely jumped the gun with that one.

Must admit I don't know a lot about him, but out wide is where we are arguably our strongest, all I wanted this January was a centre back but there seems to be no movement on that front

Yeah that was weird. One minute it was "bid accepted!!!!!1111!" and then it went "oh, hang on, sky were just messin with us"

Who knows, Sky love all the drama don't they, I'm sure they don't have a direct line to the boardrooms of Birmingham and Bournemouth so they probably don't actually know any more than you or me.

ADAM Le Fondre will join Wanderers on loan from Cardiff City next week.

Thank F@@@ Southbank isn't here. All the grief I gave him over Le Fondre (him saying he would end up as top scorer), and we go and sign the useless git......no I don't and have never rated him

I would have ALF at Wolves to challenge Afobe and Dicko. Also apparently were not getting the two players we enquired for last week, Matt Phillips and Wilson Palacios. There is talk about us looking at someone called Joe Walsh from Crawley though!
