Speculation that Rotherham United have made a big-money offer for League Two hot-shot Omar Bogle has been dismissed by caretaker manager Paul Warne.

There have been reports that the Millers, who are looking for a new striker in the January transfer window, have bid £850,000 for the 18-goal Grimsby Town hitman.

But Warne insisted: “I’ve seen what’s been put out there. I can categorically say that we haven’t offered that figure.

What's your point?

First offer 300k + add ons
Second offer 600k + add ons.

Warne confirms we've bid but not that amount.

Albino looks a fool again. Gets giddy at trying make the great SERNWA look daft without reading the full article.

Silly boy.

Tiago Ilori at the game, still not confirmed. The sooner the better.. we're shipping an average of over 2.5 goals a game over the past two months..

Reyt panic signing.

Club didn't sign Gregory or Bradshaw and we were left with 1 fit striker and a 19 year old. Backstock had us by the bollocks, 10k a week on a 3 year deal.

2 people to blame for that, Alan Stubbs for suggesting the signing and Paul Douglas for handing out a ridiculous length of contract, Stubbs rightfully sacked and Douglas very lucky to be still in a job because thats the most ridiculous signing we've ever made period because we'll never get rid of him now without paying his contract off which will cost a fortune.

It's just how you were spouting off in the L2 forum the other day about how you were confident of getting him for £1.2m yet days on you haven't even put up the £850k which was being reported.

Bless, and you might want to google the definition of albino whilst you're at it mate, I don't think you fully understand what an albino is.

I said that I'm confident we'd sign him if we bid £1.2m as was my mate at the club, asked him if we'd have to go as high as Gregory. Hence why I said £1.2m should do it.

You're an albino I've seen your Twitter pic. Do you have red eyes too?

An albino with brown hair, incredible. On the subject of hair, with the rate you're going at you're not gonna have any left in a couple of years, so let's pipe down a tad shall we?

Cmon you're the albino on the end.

I don't need to pipe down, nothing you say bothers me.

I'm not in my twitter profile pic making gang signs.

When was this?

If you referring to the pictures posted on here of me I couldn't care less.

I was moaning about the hypocrisy, I've been banned for far less and was my argument at the time.

So be quiet Yokel. Go and find a family member to penetrate.

No idea, replacement for Hourihane?

Brownhill's come into the side over the past month and been our best player, will be livid if we sell.

Seems a bit pointless. Rather we get Morsy permanently and give Moncur a chance.

Why have I seen that Wolves are linked with Danny Ward? isn't he shit? SERAWA would we want him? this feels an awful lot like last year's Joe Mason signing all over again! Hopefully not for £3 million this time...

Think that will tip some Barnsley fans over the edge, Winnall signing for us was bad enough for some we're just taking the piss now. It's a shame the pigs don't have any decent players we could steal.

That is some reyt business by our chairman though, 1.5M for two quality Championship players at a young age. Bugger spending 12M on Rhodes.

Feel sorry for Barnsley...

What goes around will come around though, Just wait till one of their half decent players runs his contract down and they get fuck all for him. One good thing Jez Moxey did for Wolves (well the only good thing) was make sure our best players were tied down so we could get a small fortune for them, we got 25m combined for Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis. He also made Lescott sign a new contract days before we sold him to Everton purely so we could get some money for him.

On the Hogan front, West Ham are being terrible to negotiate with. They've met our valuation now of £15m, but seems c. £6m of it is in add-ons, the vast majority of which are insanely unlikely to happen (one is apparently a Ballon D'Or clause). They're basically just taking the piss.

We want the £15m in guaranteed fees, plus a sell on %, so the difference between the clubs is still pretty big. Expect this one to rumble on for a while.

No need Mark. This was all expected and we'll be fine. Money isn't an issue at this club at the moment. The only slightly grating aspect of the whole situation is the fact Winnall has gone to Wednesday. Baiting from Wednesday fans has to be taken on the chin. Baiting from fans of other clubs is just amusing.

Both Winnall and Hourihane turned down extensions last summer. As I've said personally I would have preferred to let their contracts run out and lose them for nothing in the next window but if a player is adamant they want to leave then there isn't much you can do, and players aren't going to carry on earning £5k a week when £20k is on offer and neither would we. May as well cash in (even if it's below their value) rather than have sulking players disrupting the harmony of the squad.

Hourihane will leave too I reckon, hopefully not to Wednesday or any other Championship club as Celtic are interested apparently and they are his boyhood club.

Animosity towards Winnall is pathetic and not something I would resort to. The man cost us peanuts and has been one of our most consistent goalscorers for years. Players will come and go and we'll no doubt be raiding a smaller club for one of their important players again sometime soon.

Yeah I'd be buzzing with it if we got him permanently, only thign we have in our favour is that we've had him before.

Can see that, we'll put him in shop window again and he'll go Cardiff or somewhere like that. Typicla Warnock player tbf.
Actually just realised that possibly he is going to make our squad tonight. I was thinking there's no chance he'd be there as a midfielder but just clocked that we already have a RB likely to play at CB and if we picked up an injury we'd have no-one to go there at all so he might make the squad as an emergency, emergency defender. Would make sense I suppose.

 That's the kind of shit I do on Football Manager, offer loads below the price but add £5m when the player scores 50 international goals- for a centre back.

We could have had Hourihane for 500k in the summer. We enquired, were quoted that figure then sacked it off and got Jordi Gomez on a free instead. Such decisions shape seasons...although I didn't expect Hourihane to be such a revelation in the Championship.

I'm calling bullshit ..... Why would Barnsley even entertain that.

The bid has been accepted by Barnsley now up to the player but told barring any late shocks he will sign.

Sorry Craig
