It's not likely, but I liked Spence here when he was on loan. Signed permanently and was a bit underwhelming and has never established himself in this league since. Found himself second choice at MK behind George Baldock at the back end of last season.

Reckon he'll be second choice to begin with, we've just changed formation to 3-5-2 so pushes Chambers back to CB thankfully. Also means we'd only have RB in Emmanuel. Sensible signing in truth.

Suprised by that considering the positions of the two clubs.

No Morsy, Winnall and potentially Hourihane for Barnsley, seen their right back linked away as well, not good.

Not pleasant times. Morsy would have been the replacement for Hourihane. Armstrong and Bradshaw will takeover from Winnall though so not overly worried on the striker front. Bree will be a loss but he has the potential to follow in the footsteps of Stones and Holgate so we're not going to stand in the way of that.

Said it before but I hate January. Ruins seasons.

Lose the next two and I think he'll be gone mate, I do think his time's up after Saturday but there's not really much out there for us in terms of a replacement.

Lose the next two and Johnson would of lost more games then he has won in his entire managerial career

O'Donnell will be decent for you. I prefer him to Fielding, his shot stopping may not be as good but he comes and claims the ball and I think our back line feel more assured with him in net. When we were doing well at the start of the season he was playing.

Shame he's going, he was the best keeper in L1 in his last season at Walsall and if you lose Camp in the summer he'll be good for you next year.

I'm pretty gutted and losing hope after hearing this

Given he managed Oldham near the bottom of the table and the long Barnsley losing streak I was surprised it wasn't the case anyway tbh.

Birmingham in for Russell. I must admit that I would be happy to see him go for a decent fee.

He's been a decent player for us, largely inconsistent, but decent all the same. My view is that he's shown less ability in the past two years, and I don't feel like his energy or intensity has been there either.

If you would have told me at the start of the season 20 appearances in that he would have just the one goal and no assists, I wouldn't have thought it was actually possible. No professional footballer should be producing numbers like that if given the game time. It's the biggest sign of his deteriorating state.

I prefer Anya, personally, but we need to replace him whether he stays or goes.

Rumours from the "ITKs" among our support that we've asked Derby and Sheff Wed about taking either Nick Blackman or Lucas Joao on loan. Would happily have one of them instead of throwing 1.5m on Bogle. Although I'm slightly terrified that Sheff Wed will palm us off and try to flog us that donkey Nuihiu instead.

No chance on Joao

Looks like O'Donnell will go to Rotherham today. Good decision to sell the best keeper at the club to a fellow relegation rival, not annoyed at all.

He's not settled mate, young family wants to come back north.

Aye I read, still stupid to let him go to Rotherham though, I'm sure Bradford or some other Yorkshire club would've been interested even if we had to subside his wage for them.

Supposed to be getting that German keeper though? Surely an upgrade on what we have currently? Lucic seems one for the future too so I think we are doing alright for keepers at the club.

I do prefer O'Donnell to fielding as well, but we can't have to many decent keepers at the club.

Yeah mate, 6"5 Schalke's number two who's had offers from Ajax and Wender Bremen. If there's not a view to a permanent it seems a bit of a waste of time.

Yeah, Brady's occasionally played there though.

Dangerous that with Brady reportedly off too. Granted in terrible form at the minute but their season's quickly becoming a write off.

It makes no difference if he goes to Rotherham they'll still go down comfortably. Depending on how you rate him it could help us him playing against our competitors. I still can't believe we are in the position we are, Johnson and Co really have made a mess of this season. Clueless fucks!

I thought Robbie Keane to North end was one of those bullshit Twitter things at first but it doesn't seem to be going away.

36 or not, I reckon he would still have goals in him.

Apparently we have gone back in for Ward. I would be happy with him, at least he is scoring goals unlike our strikers bar Sylla.

I heard that Freeman won't play for City again this year, he won't sign a new deal so I would think they would cash in on him.

Sean Goss, a Man Utd young midfielder is coming on loan. Reading some forums, Man Utd fans want this to only be a loan, they would want him getting more games this year. Same sort of player as Carrick going by reports (or in QPR terms, a long awaited replacement for Faurlin).

For me I'd allow Joao to go out on short term loan but I can't see Carlos letting him, rumours flying around that we're on the verge of confirming Andre wisdom on a 3 year deal, any good Derby fans?

The rumour started by some "freelance" journo who claimed we had a deal for Agbonlahor last August.....utter shit.

Daily Mail claims us and Ipswich are looking at Harry Bunn who could be available if Huddersfield bring in a new striker.

Stop calling them Wender Bremen. I let it go the first two times cos I thought it might be a typo.

Still no confirmation on Ilori, getting on two weeks now since it came about. BBC had it confirmed on their website 8 days ago, and they don't normally jump the gun.

At least we signed McCleary up to a new 2.5 year deal. Our top goalscorer, top assist maker.. was starting to get nervous with him only having 6 months left on his deal.
