Aberdeen want Stevie May on loan.

Disappointed if that happens as I want to see him given a go for us this season but after around 14 months out with injury he really needs some regular game time.

Would prefer to see Eoin Doyle sent out but I suppose someone would actually have to want the guy...
Would be a shit move for him, McInnes is an absolute tool.

Just got Burns back from there and it seems he's leaving permanently.

I remember he came with a good rep from Portsmouth. Is he not cut out for the Championship?

I think he's decent, and could do a job in this league no doubt. We have never given him a chance really, most of his games for us have been as a late sub. Think he'll definitely be a player that we will regret selling on the cheap.

As with many players though his main weakness is consistancy. Burnley away last season he was brilliant, one of the best wing performances I've seen from a Wolves player. Yet Burton at home this season he was awful. If he was consistant to his Burnley performance though, he would no doubt be at a better team than Wolves.

Was his manager at St Johnstone so they know each other well.

Could be a sensible move on our part if he comes back in the summer fully fit with goals under his belt but only if we replace him with someone who can make an impact this season.

Wes Burns sold to Fleetwood, shame he never managed to move beyond having potential here.

We've had a bid rejected for Jordan Rhodes, not sure how much but they're saying its well below what they're after. Both local press and press in the north east are reporting it

I'd be amazed if may makes it at this level, he looked out of his depth with us even with regular game time, I may be proven wrong but I was over the moon when we got our money back for him becayse he didn't seem to have any particularly good attributes that are needed as a championship footballer

Ridsdale said we didn't pay anthing like the £1m quoted in the media.

We'll see about Stevie May, most players we sign don't come with glowing reputations. Your lot didn't rate McGeady and he's an outstanding footballer, as good as anything in the division on his day, Vermijl came with bad reviews as well, also a good player.

Ben Marshall been dropped for their weekend game vs Birmingham due to his refusal to commit his future to Blackburn. Owen Coyle said that Wolves were the only open interested club. Would be very happy if we could get him in, along with Wiemann it looks to be a good transfer window for us.

Rumours we could have 3 signed up by Monday, Lansbury expected to sign today/tomorrow, one of the others rumoured to be Rhodes, fuck knows who the third is... Hourihane?

Vermijl was pretty unused so not sure how people could have formed an opinion. McGeady has clear ability but never really showed it at Wednesday, could clearly tell he had it in him though

Fair enough but it seems Grayson has a good knack of getting performances out of players who might not have been a hit elsewhere.

From the little i've seen of May, I think he could fit into our team well, pressing from the front.

Turned bids for Brownhill down from other Championship sides, Johnson said today we've not even responded to offers as we can't be in the business of selling young players who are a big part of our future. Reassuring.

Blues finally addressing the LB issue bringing in highly rated Cheick Keita, 20 year old, likes to get forward, and isn't Jonathon Grounds

So far with Juke, Gardner, Nsue & Keita signed in the window it's been a good one for us.

Now if we could just win a game please, that'd be nice :2thumb:

Makes sense, Brownhill's got experience of playing in League 1. He could be useful for you next season.

Really hope we keep away from Marshall, not sure why we need him when we have Cav, Ronan, Wiemann, and then the injured lads to begin returning.

Pleased with Weimann if he can show more with us than he has for Derby.

Would like us to sign a left back and to then get rid of Joe Mason and I will be happy.

I think Marshall is a full back isn't he? He seems to have played a lot of positions in his career to be honest, but I'd imagine it would be as a full back. Iorfa is better in the centre if anything, and Coady is a midfielder really.

They didn't cost millions like the summer signings though.

Are the above quality? Ze Germans have had no game time, Baily and The Carrol lookalike seem ok now but see what happens after a few weeks of the city coaches melting there minds

Is he not a winger/attacking mid that's been playing as a full back this season?

And all of last season. Certainly hasn't played on the wing for a while I don't think. Odd, really - as I remember him looking pretty handy for Leicester at this level as a right winger.
