Transfer fees don't mean anything in the long run, it's wages that get you out the division. Would rather we dolled that £13 million out on wages for loads of out of contract players in the summer, rather than having a mediocre midfielder at rightback and a mediocre rightback at left back.

Jozefzoon confirmed, but only on a 6 month deal, with the club having an option to extend it for another year.

The deal worries me a bit, I guess we're taking him as an inexpensive gamble, but if we believed he had the right quality to improve the team then why give him such a short deal. If he does well we'll be leaving ourselves looking to sell him on the cheap rather than be left with nothing.
