Derby interested in taking Iorfa from us. Probably would be a safe move for him, but would be sad to see him go.

Yeah sadly I can see it too. I think the long term plan is to sell Iorfa, switch Matt Doherty from LB into our long term RB, and sign a new LB.

Oh, unless Fosun have anything to do with it and we'll sign 3 new RB's from Benfica's B team and use George Saville as our undisputed LB for the next 5 years.

Yasser Kasim has been offered a contract from a Championship club. Rumour is it's our Brizzle friends!
He was mentioned a few times last summer IIRC.
By the way, your club hasn't got ANY friends in Bristol. You're alright as are most of the Swindon fans on here but your club, wouldn't piss on it if it were on fire Dan.

Where's that rumour come from? I'd be happy with that.

And yeah, Abraham won't drop back down to this division rightly or wrongly, even if he did he'd be back here.
We've offered 5 out of contract players new deals - although not expecting any of them to be taken up, all to do with some EFL rule. Been reported that Kasim has a deal on the table from a Championship club and Brizzle has been mentioned.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was us - need a player in his position and we have a history of signing players from Swindon

Sheffield United have bid for Ricky Holmes in one of the most predictable approaches of the pre-season, we've told them he is not for sale.

Until they up their offer by about £2.50, probably.

No chance Cardiff would pay what we would be asking for Cunningham, 2 years left on his contract. They're going through cost cutting aren't they? and already have a good left back in Bennett.

If he leaves then it will be for big money to a bank-rolled club like Wednesday or Derby, or in 2019 for nothing. We supposedly rejected a derisory bid from Newcastle this season.

Not sure about any sell on considering he was surplus and pretty much pushed out of the door.
There's money there to be spent apparently, but I think a lot of it and where it would be spent would depend on who we get rid of. I wouldn't have thought a left back would be on our radar either with Bennett being a favourite already. Not to mention we have Jazz Richards and Matt Connolly that can play there as well.

There would have to be a lot of money available for you to sign Cunningham. The lad's quality, one of the best LB in the division without doubt.

As you say you're well covered so looks like it's just paper talk.

We've released James Henry and Mike Williamson. Jack Price and George Saville have been made available for transfer. Richard Stearman won't be signed permanently.

Well I heard this a good month or two ago and it's only just hit papers now. Cardiff have made a decent amount available and they were watching him through last season. He'd be their marquee signing for the summer.

Would imagine we have a hefty sell on fee given we let him go for peanuts, but would rather him stay at Preston than pull on a Cardiff shirt and be managed by Colin.

It won't happen anyway, far more important areas we need to strengthen than full back,

We have supposedly got 3 players signed up already, though they are being signed just as squad players. So I'd like to welcome Paddy Kenny, Clint Hill and Shaun Derry to Cardiff...

Throw in the fact that Cunningham probably won't even be fit for the start of the season.

No he wouldn't, if we was to drop divisions again he'd go to a big club on loan

By far and away our best player. He missed 3 months through injury last season, still scored 12 and won player of the year. Scores some absolute worldies and very good at set-pieces. Honestly think that without him we could have gone down and if he wasn't injured for that time we could have made a push for the play-offs. He's that important to our team.

Will be gutted if we do let him go, if we have any chance of getting up next year then we need to build the team around him. When we signed him from Northampton, their fans were saying they couldn't believe hasn't already played above L2 now our fans can't believe he's never played above L1, far too good for it.

Sounds promising no idea what we've offered but would imagine the deal will happen. Not much our clubs can do really when a team in a higher division comes calling it's just a case of getting the money you want.

Nah, would be no point in that. He settled and was loved here and would still be playing against the same opposition every week.

It's besides the point anyway as we know he's not coming back to this division, McCallister said the other night he has PL offers.

He will go where he's fucking told to go. He won't even have a say in it if He's as good as you all say then conte may keep him and give him a chance

Actually you're wrong Blademan, as Chelsea do give players an option of where they go to an extent. Abraham did an interview with our local radio and said that he'd been given a set of options and eventually chose us (probably for first team football) and never looked back.

Yeah he is good, very good, and if Costa goes then I expect Abraham will stay or he'll go to Everton as part of the Lukaku deal as was reported a few places this week.

David Stockdale did a weird tweet yesterday, mentioning family etc (his family live around Leeds)

has everyone in the leeds forums going nuts, apparently he's not staying on at Brighton? surely one of the best keepers there is for championship?

Especially with our owners who are incapable of working out that promotion is worth much more.

I hold out some hope, he's adored here and Robinson has said keeping him is one of the priorities. He's been offered a much improved contract so he knows how much he's valued here and that he is the key man and I've read somewhere that he has previously turned down moves up north.

That said, he's 30 next month and might feel it's his last to chance to have a crack at The Championship and obviously knows Wilder well from their time at Northampton.

For us, just a case of holding our breath and crossing our fingers that he signs the new contract.

They can watch him all they like, unless they fork out £3mil+ they won't be getting him. He's or best defender by a mile and we've no need to sell.

Unless he wants to go. For higher wages, better girlfriend, Eistedfodds. All can be found in Cardiff. To be honest, the Preston Eistedfodd is shit.

He's in Las Vegas with our squad at the mo anyway, along with Aiden McGeadie so he won't be signing for anyone imminently.
