We've confirmed our retained list today, on the released list are Claude Dielna, Urby Emanuelson, Darryl Lachman, Modou Sougou, Jose Semedo and Vincent Sasso. Offered new deals to both promising young goalkeepers Joe Wildsmith and Cameron Dawson, hope they both re-sign but we really need to send them both out on loan next season.

No surprises really there, the only one I'd have potentially kept out of the released list would have been Sasso as a 4th choice centre back but maybe he wants more regular football. The rest are deadwood that have hardly played since being signed, Emanuelson played about 15 minutes all season, while Dielna, Lachman and Sougou have been out on loan in Romania, Holland and Portugal. Wish Jose Semedo all the best in his future, absolute warrior and used to be our best player, been a good servant to the club. Expect he'll move to a top end League One club.

We don't mind an ex Wednesday player, might be having a look at a couple of them, definitely in the market for a centre back due to Tom Clarke's injury.

Think Sasso would be a good signing for you, don't imagine he'd be on much money and barely put a foot wrong as a reserve centre back, deserves to be playing more somewhere really. I'd stay clear of the rest though!

We've signed Connor Grant from Shamrock Rovers, a 17 year old midfielder I believe. Expect he'll go straight into our under 23's for now.

We've been linked with Chieck Diarra and some random bloke from the French Ligue 2, Assoubre, with a shit scoring record, Kenan Kodro from Osasuna plus have offered term to Yaser Kasim from Swindon who had a stormer against us a few years ago but has done feck all since.
Pah! :lac:

I think Chieck Diarra is a random bloke with a shit scoring record from the French Ligue 2 (9 goals in 35 games? No thanks.). A quick google search suggests Assoubre to be a tricky winger from the Spanish leagues.

In for Southend's Ryan Leonard, along with Sheffield United and Bolton.

So I suppose I should say Bolton and Sheffield United are battling it out for Southend's Ryan Leonard...

One team have offered a player plus a fee for Leonard. Putting 2 and 2 together I reckon that's Calum Butcher from Millwall, Southend lad and he didn't appear to get many starts this season.

He's going abroad, to a club playing either Europa or CL football, that's what Chelsea want, Jody Morris's preferred destination is Fenerbache

Still waiting for this to happen before you make anymore predictions.

Are you lost?

The Bolton information comes from someone working for an administrator, time will tell on both predictions though Harv.

Yes we are, but this is to do with the accounts being late and the business plan being put to the EFL, all to be sorted this month. No administration though, we (Dean Holdsworth company who bought the shares from eddie davies) were back in court regarding a loan that Dean Holdsworth took out with Blu Marble to buy the club last year, and our current chairman is in talks to buy these shares, from which i guess, DH will settle the loan with Blu Marble. IF this is done, we'll be debt free, out of the embargo, and ready to go. The emargo was based on us not signing anymore players beyond the 24 we had BUT as the season has ended 6 have been realeased and I think 5 have gone back to their parent clubs and another 6 are out of contract on June 30th, so we can talk to players who won't cost a fee....I think that is the situation anyway

You wont be out of debt, regardless of the outcome with Blu Marble, it's odd that a insolvency company have been drafted in though, I hope I'm wrong has you've been through the shit as it is.

Two deals been chucked about.

We want Jota
Burnley want Bannan.

Oh and our academy manager Dean Ramsdale is off to Citeh, gutted, he's done wonders at the club.

If Jota goes, which I think he will, it'll probably be back to Spain. I'm hoping we can push the boat out and get him on a new deal though, it's unlikely but then again I thought Judge wouldn't sign a new deal (that only happened as he needed another surgery this summer so wouldn't have been fit enough to get another club)

I reckon we'd ask for about £5-6m for Jota given he's in the last year of his deal, but I worry a bit as while this club is very good at getting good deals for those with more than a year on their deals (Hogan, Gray, Tarkowski), we seem to crumble and sell on the cheap when they have only 12 months left (Button, Bidwell, Dallas)

I've always rated Jota. Happy for him to head up the M1, then the M6, then the A463, right onto the A454, then he could park either behind the station on Corn Hill and walk to the ground or go completely round the roundabout then **back** up the ring road and hang a right. Actually you can go right at any of the next two lights and find on-street parking or for a limited time (and with a till receipt) park at Asda and walk across the road. I'm assuming Jota actually has a car and can drive to be honest. He could take the train up to Wolverhampton. Anyway, regardless of his mode of transportation, we'd have him.

Thrilled to see that we have now been linked with almost an entire team. And a new manager. We await rumours linking us to a physio and Rotherham's legendary groundsman.

Sporting Mendes
Stadium: The Thomas Cook Arena, Wolverhampton.
Manager: Nuno Espírito Santo
Jason Steele (Venkys Athletic)
Hildeberto Pereira (Benfica) - Fabio Cardoso (Vitoria de Setubal) - Phil Ofosu-Ayeh (E. Braunschweig) - Grant Hanley (Newcastle)
Shaun Maloney (Hull) - Josh Scowen (Barnsley) - Aaaron Mooy (Man City) - Marley Watkins (Barnsley)
Famara Diedhiou (Angers) - Britt Assombalonga (Forest)

versus
LinkedWithWolves FC
Chris Martin (Derby) - Ashley Fletcher (West Ham)
Harry Wilson (Liverpool) - Daryl Murphy (Newcastle) - Filip Krovinovic (Rio Ave) - Jordan Hugill (Preston)
Ryan Bennett (Norwich) - Richard Stearman (Fulham) - John O'Shea (Sunderland) - Roderick Miranda (Rio Ave)
????

Sub: Sam Gallagher (Southampton), Bebe (Eibar), Conor Mahoney (Venkys Rovers), Joe Ledley (Palace), Brad Walker (Hartlepool), Emyr Huws (Cardiff)

I have excluded the Birmingham Mail as a source as they just list every out-of-contract player in the PL and Championship and say "Wolves should sign...". That's a bit like betting on every horse in the Grand National and then raving on about it when one wins.

Edited Tuesday: Thanks Express & Star for completing our back four line up today. And with Lambert gone, we are being linked with every Portuguese player alive and seven that died recently.
Edited Wednesday: Almost enough for a second team now.
Edited Monday 5th June. Just one more position to fill for the second team.

Wow, Bradford must be sick of us by now. Cracking signing for us.

Also signed Tom Elliot from Wimbledon. Target man.

He was out of contract and leaving regardless, the fact it was to us I don't think matters much.

Not sure what the kid from Wimbledon will bring from the bench though.

It's a strange one as that debt is to a company and people not associated with BWFC, whereas the debt you allude to is owned by the ex-owner, who only wants paying back if we get into the Premier League (which won't happen for some time if ever), but we've sold alot of land etc. But it is all cloak and daggers, and you never really know the full story, but it's what I have gleaned from the accounts etc
