Couple of Derby related stories I've heard today.

Tammy Abraham keen on switch but Derby cannot afford the wage percentage Chelsea want (75%)

Kyle Lafferty a target.

Lafferty is linked with every skint club every season, how old is he now?

50 grand a week Tammy's on isn't he? Signed a 5 year deal with them when he was still with us.

Think the skint bit is overplaying our situation, we're just too close for comfort to FFP. Got the money, just can't keep spending it. Still quite happy chucking millions into our academy and infrastructure.

Had a 1.5 million bid turned down for Jozefroon unsurprisingly.

Chelsea have given us permission to hold talks with Kasey Palmer, unsure if it's a loan/perm yet though.

We wouldn’t ask for too much more than that I’d think. Like the guy and want to keep him, but I reckon we’d accept £2.5-3m

I would be happy with that too.
Get him and Marriott through the door plus a keeper and possibly another left back (assuming JB is off) and we're pretty well set TBH.

Got a feeling we’ve told posh to do one re Marriott.. and with the way fry was behaving I’d be happy if we did, I think we got weiman instead tbh.

Is he their first choice Right Back? Bit of a random one.

Few journos have said talks have already been made and a medical is imminent.

12 months left on his contract according to Owlstalk. Might explain the relatively low fee.

Unfortunately, I think you're right Jon. I do like the look of him though so would be disappointed if that were the case.

Looks like an upgrade on Pisano at least.

Shame but think we have Byram coming in on loan so easy decision to let him go.

We’re also chasing David Button from Fulham. Second choice GK and apparently they’re after Tim Krul so I could see this one happening.

Probably the end of Frank Fielding.

Marriott omitted from the Posh squad for their first pre-season game, something seemingly is about to happen I guess.

Fry mentioned that we were in for him, whether that was just him talking wet - I don't know.

Bryson (£2m) Weimann (£2m) & Rowett (£2m) all out the door - plus about £5-6m off the wage bill.

It would have us believe there is some room to manoeuvre. I think we were only £4m above the FFP limit prior to all these changes.

He obviously did well last season, but I am wary. I'd love to know what Luton fans thought of him, seems like he hit 33 out of the blue.

It seems to be yourselves and us with concrete interest although the signing of Weimann may count us out, we just don't know.
I would imagine you're in a strong position if finances allow.

Going Forest apparently. What a signing that is, why have you let him go for £1.6m? I'm very happy with that.

Niggly injuries, higher earner, final year of contract.

Will accept the money and reinvest it. Has his detractors but i liked him, he is decent going forward but suspect defensively. Should do ok at yours.

Yeah I thought he'd be on a bit, makes me laugh when we're mentioned with clubs like PNE and Brentford as overachievers based on budget.

Fair enough, I'm happy with it in fairness think he's decent going forwards. We do have two sick notes at right back now but when they're fit they're both good players.

Same can be said for nearly every full back these days.

We have shifted a lot of money on wages though. If you think Reid, Flint, O’Neil, Magnusson, Steele, Golbourne have all departed.

Nathan Byrne linked with Celtic and we’ve got bloody James Perch training with us. But that doesn’t matter because it’s coming home! Oh and now Nick Powell just revealed on a Fortnite live stream without releasing everything he said was being broadcast that he was meeting Steve Bruce on his day off to try and get a move. But again it doesn’t matter because it’s coming home!

Hunt is a good player, but as already stated he picks up a lot of daft injuries that keep him out for small spells quite frequently, and we can probably reinvest his wages and transfer fee into another area. His crossing is pretty suspect but he does get up the pitch well, the other side of his game isn't too great but he's defInitely a more attack minded full back. It's come a bit out of the blue, hope we aren't planning on going into the season with Liam Palmer as first choice...

Think Liam Palmer played down here last season when we did you 4-1? By far the worst player on the pitch..

Yeah he's not good enough for a top end Championship team, League One is probably his level.

Apparently we’ve had a bid accepted for Mohamed Eisa, striker for Cheltenham, scored 23 goals in L2 last year, £500k with add ons taking it to £1m.

Happy with that, we’ve done well with strikers out of that league before, and we need another striker.
