Ipswich
We had a ball and chain around our ankle for the majority of last season and still averaged 5k more at home than Ipswich. The difference between the support of Birmingham & Ipswich was evident during that League Cup semi final in 2001.

Stockdale favoured a better salary at Birmingham over Premier League football with Brighton. Dean, Jota & Colin were happy to leave Brentford for a sideways move (but better salary) at Birmingham. Doubt Bialkowski has any ounce of loyalty to Ipswich, those days are long gone.

I'm too young to remember the 2001 semi final so please feel free to let me know.
Last season you were given a lot of funding and upfront optimism which no doubt will have increased attendances last year. We have been given minimal funding in comparison, higher ticket prices I'd have thought, lowest season in 60 years the season before, boring Mick tactics and jibes from an arrogant bloke. These days have hopefully passed and attendances will rise quite quickly.
It took you lot 1 season to drop below 19k on relegation from the prem. It took us 10 (ten) seasons.

Unfortunately, I have to agree, those days are long gone. I get the sense though that there's a bubble and it's going to burst soon with clubs falling like stones.
Re Bart specifically though, for some reason though, I just don't see him wanting a move unless its much higher

Looks like Derby are getting closer to signing Marriott. Saw on Twitter talks are getting closer and a fee is closer to being agreed.

Think Boro will have to bend slightly from their £6m valuation to get a deal done, they always have to sell to buy especially if they're lodging big bids for Eisa/Marquis.

Sheffield United apparently want Ben Woodburn on loan. Would be okay with this as I want us to keep Harry Wilson instead.

Looks like Rhodes to Norwich is a go after the two clubs agreed a loan fee, good move for him especially with Ben Marshall feeding him the crosses, he'll score goals next season no doubt. Hopefully it raises his stock again and we can recoup more money after a decent loan fee also, and hopefully it'll give us some room to work now with incomings.

Norwich could be in for a good season. I don't know much about their foreign signings but they seem decent on paper.

Use Rhodes correctly and he's a 20+ a season man.

Good signings, but they've also lost Maddison, and they had Leitner last year anyway. Think it'll depend on if they get off to a good start.

Leitner was off the pace last season and had a couple of injuries, not sure we saw what he's capable of but he flashed moments of brilliance. Think it's way too soon to say if we're building anything decent. So many ifs and buts about the squad at the moment.

Looks like Ivo Pinto could be off to Dusseldorf. Been a good player for us but he'll be on prem wages and we can't afford that for too much longer.

We've signed two 19 year olds. Jordi Govea from Real Madrid and Sunderland's hottest prospect Joel Asoro.

Marshall is a brilliant winger, but you really do need to play him 442 with a decent pacey fullback on the overlap to get the best of him. Cracking delivery and good skill to make a yard, but no real pace. Works hard defensively though.

Good signing Asoro, liked the look of him and Ejaira (sp) when Sunderland came to Ashton Gate last season.

Would like to shift him off the books personally, he's a bad egg and is apparently a total wanker. But he still is a decent player at this level so if they want him I wouldn't sell for less than 5M. Don't see how he can pass a medical considering he's recovering from an ACL injury.

Signed some Polish international RB from Cologne. I can’t say I’ve heard of him but their fans seems to rate him. Happy enough with this, should be an improvement to the squad.

I suspect the plan is for us to play a 3-4-3 next season with Marshall on the right of the four.

Hugill to Leeds a goer?

I think he could do well there with Saiz, Hernandez and Alioski playing off him.

I reckon he'd be a better signing for them than Vydra. Vydra's a second striker and they already have Saiz and Hernandez to play that

It's Leeds though, they could sign Vydra and Hugill and still fuck it up.

Deathly quiet at Deepdale at the moment.

Our search for a Hugill replacement seems to have gone dead, with Barnsley wanting £2m for Moore. No news about our bid for Callum Connolly either as their new manager wants to take a look at him in pre season supposedly.

We also have 5 chumps sat in the stands who seemingly have no takers.
