Rather stay at Villa in the Championship than play for Wolves in the Premier League. Just goes to show that Villa are still bigger.
We will always be the biggest name in the region, but I don’t think it’s down to that. He’s playing first team football and he’s banging goals in for fun. He also seems very settled at villa. No guarantee he’d get enough game time at Wolves. He said he wants to be a part of our promotion push, so fair play to him. At the end of the day, in 7 months he knows he will be playing premier league football regardless. Whether it be for villa(doubtful) or whoever else comes in for him. Smiling like a Cheshire Cat :) haha

Wolves fans back tracking now saying they didn’t really want him anyway. And to the ones who just wanted him to fuck our play off chances up .... :fing:

Connor Ripley to PNE seems likely.

Reach linked with Villa for 10m in some press, sounds bollocks and unlikely.

Don't think they can spend can they? They wanted Maupay to replace Abraham if he left but only on loan because they couldn't afford the transfer fee without breaking FFP.

Any idea if he's any good? Never seen him play I don't think.

Oldham fans rate him highly, think he's done pretty well at Accy too but still an unproven player at this level really, would have preferred someone who has played a couple of seasons in this league at least but we won't pay the wages for anyone like that.

Don't even know if this is a permanent move yet.

We’re selling Yennaris to a club in China for £5m. Good business, but we’re incredibly short of centre mids who are under contract for next year now

I managed to cover it as I saw Rob Dorsett’s tweet and got across to Sky quickly, so will profit either way luckily.

Huddersfield or Palace to come in with a late swoop.

I'd have prefered an experienced keeper aswell but they cost like you say.

Aslong as this lads boots aren't made of lead, and he can move from his line, he should improve us I suppose.

Probably looked at Jimenez last night and thought 'I'm never going to get a game ahead of him'... May aswell stay at Villa where I'm guaranteed to play.
I don’t think he’d doubt himself like that tbf. Obviously he’s not as good. He missed training yesterday which was a big indication he was going to Wolves, I thought. Maybe he was thinking things over. Maybe he wanted to join but other problems came about. If it’s actually true that he did turn you down to stay at villa, then it’s probably down to game time and wanting to keep his confidence high. I’ll say it again, he knows he will be playing premier league football next season anyway, so a few more months banging goals in down in the championship won’t hurt him.

Abraham’s agent has tweeted that it was Tammys decision to stay at villa, and that all this talk of Fifa potentially blocking the move is false. He also tweeted if villa are to go up this season, we would be his first choice for a permanent move away from Chelsea. Also said villa are bringing in another signing, whoever that may be.

I'd call it the safe option. Everyone knows he can score goals in the Championship for what he did for Bristol City and Aston Villa, his record in the PL is another story. It's a shame because I would have liked him.

48 hours locked in negotiations with my client Tammy Abraham over his proposed move to #WWFC. Can confirm it was Tammy's choice to stay at #AVFC - paper talk of FIFA block is false.

A tough decision with the allure of
@premierleague
- but the right choice to stay at a big club.

Probably mate. He’s still young and will have many years in the prem.

Logical isnt it.

Another six months in the Midlands then signs for West Ham, doesn't have to endure the delights of Wolverhampton, ever.

If he is good as people think he is he can do a lot better than West Ham.
