Alan Judge signs contract extension until at least 2021 with option for another year. Not a bad player to have in League One... been one of our best performers (granted; not terribly difficult to stand out this season!) since he got back to full fitness.
Good move by both parties.

Should excel at that level and come back, if you do bounce back immediately, in form and confident.

Think you will be the team next year, Lambert will do a job. Saw a thread in League One about the jump between the two divisions which says relegated clubs, in the main, fair well.

Glad to see Judgey doing well for you, probably my favourite player of the last decade, was such a shame to see him struggle for so long.

We want Nmecha back and seems he'd be keen to come back too, make it happen Riddler.

Class prospect, been our best performer in recent weeks, hopefully the goals today can give him some extra confidence in front of goal.

Not really related to here but while he’s technically a Championship player, Man Utd want Reece James from Chelsea. Be a great signing for them if they can pull it off. Someone compared James’ loan online to Beckham’s at PNE and I don’t think it’s a bad comparison. The boy’s going right to the top that’s for sure.

Got a couple of youth players on trial, looking for first year pro contracts.

Max Broughton from Bolton, former England U-17 centre back & Eyad Hammoud from Sheff Wednesday, Bulgarian youth striker who seems quite highly rated.

Looks like he wants a loan move to Germany :(

Norwich and Sheffield Utd linked with Kasey Palmer. Bit surprising. The rumour's we have 4m agreed for him if we want to exercise it, our fans are split on it but I probably would go for it. His value will only increase.

So Tom Cairney has signed a new contract at Fulham worth £60,000 a week. That is £3m a year.

What chance have we got!?

Hence why I think Parachute Payments are bollocks when chairmen with cash cant match it.

Luton will be in the lower end of a budget naturally yet they have to fight clubs willing and able to chuck 70k at a player, even the move to Power Court can't bridge that finance gap

£3m will be about 30-40% of our budget next year which says a hell of a lot. It would be 60% of our budget this season.

For me, finishing 21st or above next season will be a real achievement.

We are actually performing about 7-8 places above our budget this season according to our CEO.

Its possible to be competitive at the top on a modest budget, Brentford, Huddersfield, Sheffield United have all done it, I'm coming round to the idea that sometimes in this league chucking money at it is more of a problem, unless you are Wolves.

Making yourself hard to beat with a good team spirit and you can compete in this league.

Having a super agent on board certainly helps. Joao Moutinho cost us less than what Stoke paid for James McClean

That's madness, spending big becomes a problem when you don't spend it wisely and end up with a ridiculously unbalanced squad like we had, fair play to Wolves you spent it brilliantly and are probably going to be playing European football next season.

Something to interest Forest fans... Jason Cummings was sent home this week for being an absolute nut case. Another club you now can’t ship him out to.

Wasn’t he the guy who smashed up his own flat?
Affirm. He had an altercation with the Luton vice captain at the club awards night and threatened him with his crutches (or something along those lines).

Well we aren't messing about this year, released list already out-

Daniel Pudil
David Jones
Almen Abdi
Marco Matias
George Boyd
Gary Hooper

No complaints at all with that, shame about Hooper he's probably the best I've seen up front in my life at Hillsborough but he's a crock the wrong side of 30 on big wages, Boyd wrong side of 30 big wages, definitely got him a year too late. Almen Abdi probably goes down as the worst signing we ever made, 4M quid and he's played about 13 times, was so excited when we signed him too. David Jones like Boyd well past his best, Pudil too but he's been a good player for us. Thought Matias might have got another year, but not a big surprise, has ability but I'm sure Bruce will bring in better.

Kieran Westwood, Liam Palmer and Kieran Lee offered new deals, hope they are all signed.

Us, Stoke and Brum keen on Adam Davies apparently Craig Jamo. He's looked pretty good in your last two L1 seasons but last time you were up here I thought he was pretty poor. Would you be bothered about losing him on a free really?

He's been fantastic this season, made a few costly errors last season. Would be disappointed to lose him but I'd argue keeper is the easiest position to replace.

He's earned his payday I reckon. Would like to keep him but he's going to be able to demand a bigger wage than he's been on with the interest and I'm not sure if he's worth a big wage in this division. He's been great in both our spells in League One recently but both times he's had quality centre-halves (for League One) in front of him, Mawson and Roberts first time around and Lindsay and Pinnock this time, plus the standard of opposition he's facing down there is quite lacking. Also, as Jamo says, he'll be easily enough replaced.

Fielding, Marinovic and Pisano all released.

Always been a massive fan of Fielding....

Pisano would be a solid signing for any team in this division, never let us down. Marinovic probably wouldn't get into the 5aside team I play for basing it on the one time we saw him, absolutely dreadful keeper.

Graeme Shinnie confirmed on a pre-contract, 3 year deal. That 'soft embargo' we were under must have been lifted.

We’ve banked a substantial six figure promotion clause fee from Norwich as part of the Yanic Wildschut sale in 2017, despite him not playing a minute of football for them this season. Beautiful!

Cut throat from Wilder. Surprised at Cranie. That night at Burton has ruined Coutts unfortunately it seems.
