Just don't let Willie MacKay sort the plane out.

From what I have heard, hopefully soon all that him and certain members family will have to sort out is what pair of pants to take to HMP Nick.

Am still surprised that David Henderson has not been located.

Lee Tomlin for Marcus Maddison. Are you on pot?

No, are you? All out of blunts here.

Tomlin's had a rough patch recently, but got his head together although it's not been enough to persuade Neil Warnock that he should be in the first team. He was at Peterborough United last season on loan and we apparently want Marcus Maddison and Neal Maupay.

A few of our players leaving (Healey, Bogle, Madine, Damour, Tomlin) will help towards this.

Looks a decent deal, this would mean offloading Damour and possibly Tomlin as apparently we're in for Marcus Maddison of Peterborough United (possibility of a swap deal with Lee Tomlin?)

Marc Bola of Blackpool has been linked too - might be something to do with Rhys Healey potentially heading up to The Seasiders.
Didn’t Healey sign for MK earlier on today?

Bola isn’t worth having judging by what Rovers fans thought of him season before last also mate.

Hadn't checked on Healey - if he's gone there then it's a decent move for him.

Thanks for the heads-up about Bola btw, appreciate it mate!

Luton have made a £1.35m (1.5m EUR) bid for Simon Sluga. That would beat the club record by around half a million after the £950,000 bid was rejected (1m EUR).

Local press reporting we’re one of the sides trying to sign Joao from Wednesday and he’s handed a transfer request in to force the move.

No thanks, I’d take Winnall or Rhodes ahead of Joao plus if we want another striker I’d want an upgrade on Diedhiou.

You're joking? Joao is our most talented striker, has everything. I'll be gutted to lose him, with the right management and getting that bit of extra consistency you'll have some player. Hoping we stick to our 8M asking price.

He doesn't have everything, he's inconsistent, lazy, mardy.....

Nope. I seriously wouldn't want Joao, I've seen him have excellent games but they seem to be few and far between. If Carvalhal or Bruce can't get that level of consistency out of him then I wouldn't trust Johnson to.

There's no point in signing another striker if he's not going to be an upgrade on Diedhiou and in my opinion Joao isn't.

We’re being linked with a move for Marcus Edwards from Spurs, winger with only a year left on his deal.

Doubt we’d be able to pull that off anyway, but definitely won’t happen unless one of our current crop of wingers goes.

Rather have Bonatini over any of them myself in all honesty.

Can be, you just know he's one of those players who'll flourish after he leaves us though.
Fuck him, showed flashes in the last 4 years but not enough for me to be worried if he leaves, heard Rhodes is going though

Johnson demands extreme fitness and team work. I'm not sure Joao fits in to that vision.
LJ won't put up with any signs of laziness. A few players have already been chastised on tour for lacking the necessary effort. No doubt a few of them will be gone when we get back from the US.
LJ likes to meet the player before any signing so this is far from done IMHO as without the right 'DNA' (LJ and Mark Ashton, our CEO, use that term quite a lot), he won't be coming to BS3.

Apparently Sluga is having a medical today with the club and joining for 1.5m EUR and a £6k a week salary.

Johnson's always liked Bannan, what better time to go in for him than now...

Fuck me, it's a sightly tenuous newspaper link, hardly need for war and peace on recruitment

Sorry Southey? No need for that at all. Had a bad day flower?
Hardly war and peace though is it? Just a brief heads up on how Johnson recruits.

And that's exactly why your club is so fucked financially and having to sell your ground off just to comply with FFP, because your owner overvalues your players and you spunked a load of money up the wall without balancing the books.

If you wanted £10m for Bannan I don't know why you think we couldn't afford it, we could do, we just wouldn't be stupid enough to do it.

£10m is probably fair value for him, that said we do over value the rest of em, the chairman needs to understand football teams need to wheel and deal.

As for being fucked, no thats the likes of Bury, being punished for trying to compete with teams rewarded for failure who drive the market up is different. Financially as a club we remain secure, Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday both are beholden to their owners, do City own their stadium or is it Landsdown?

Indirectly owned by Steve Lansdown Southey. He owns various different companies which are all part of Bristol sport but he owns all of it essentially.

You don't rate Bannan do you? So is 8 figures for a 29 year old a fair price?

I'd say it's the way you went about it that's fucked you over, signing players like Abdi, Rhodes etc where there's not really resale value. We're not shy of chucking about a bit of coin like yourselves but generally it's not pissing money up the wall it's putting it into players who we can eventually sell on further if needs must.

The situation remains bleak for as long as Wednesday are outside the top flight and your financial situation isn't really helping your cause, but to answer your question I believe Lansdown owns it but under what company name I have no idea. The setup is quite confusing.
