Rumour is supposedly Burnley, £15.5M plus a player. The only Burnley player I can think of that we've been interested in is Vydra.
I am most certainly NOT in the know BTW, just stating what I'm reading.

You might get Ben Gibson on loan, wouldn't be a bad deal.

Rumoured that Juventus are looking at Danny Loader for £15m.

Just think of the many ways the club could waste that money

Nketiah scored twice in a 3-0 win over Fiorentina (sp) last night for Arsenal. Time to move on from that one I think.

so, Lucas Joao or Jordan Hugill... :err:

I’d rather that in all honesty

Youd get Joao for 3m wouldnt you and winnall for less I'd have thought. I rate Joao, needs the right manager to get him going I think.

8m they want supposedly. Johnson’s got a good record with strikers but I don’t think he’d get anything out of Joao that Carlos or Bruce didn’t.

8m? Not fucking chance surely, they signed him for about 3m and hes supposedly failed so where has the 8m come from. Him who we have just signed from Bournemouth is a similar situation regarding that he has supposedly failed as well, they signed him for 7m so we are basically giving them what they paid plus some add ons should he do well. 3m plus add ons for Joao seems fair to me.

Market inflation I suppose. I was going to mention Mousset, turned us down to join Bournemouth originally, but is that you cutting all ties with Sheffield United now mate given you’re employing a foreign player?

Joao is seriously one of the most talented players in the league, he still hits double figures and is usually in and out of the team all season, usually with niggling injuries, same with most of our players. With the way the market is now I'd be disappointed with anything less than 6M for him, 8M is probably taking the piss a bit but you set the bar high in negotiations I suppose.

Middlesbrough have turned down our bid of £1.5M for 20 year old winger Marcus Tavernier apparently.

Crunch time for most clubs this week surely...

Birmingham need another CB I feel, and a winger to replace Jota, we need a striker and if I'm greedy a CM otherwise the likelihood is that we won't build on last season but I can't see it being Nketiah with how his pre-season has gone, Brentford need to hold onto their front three, Derby need to pull their fingers out, Leeds need to address last seasons issues and replace Jansson but I don't think Bielsa seems bothered by either problem, Boro have been eerily quiet for them, Preston need to replace Robinson, possibly with Barker? Wednesday you'd think will have a manager in place by the end of this week but nothing would surprise me with Chansiri and Swansea seem to be making the most of Cooper's Chelsea contacts and may be bringing in a few loanees this week, Reece James (unlikely?) and Kasey Palmer linked.

Should be interesting, feel a lot of clubs still have an awful lot to do at this stage compared to past years. We need to do what we've failed to do when in good positions for years, I don't have much hope.

ought to sign Jamal Lowe.

£3m? We won't spend that, especially as he'll want wages to match.

Hunter from Fleetwood more likely, i'd have signed Wilks from Leeds personally but he obviously moved before we cashed in on Robinson.

We only want Barker on loan so he can prove his fitness, City want to sell. Potentially a good player but I wouldn't be paying a good fee and wages on those hamstrings.

I don't think that's unreasonable for a 25 year old, resale value you should go for it.

If/when O'Dowda eventually fucks off I'd take Lowe though the last young L1 winger that supposedly tore the division to shreds we signed last summer and he's started about 3 games.

Forgot about that Adelakun.

I know we've watched Hunter for a while but no noise in regards to a bid, in terms of overall contribution he's not far behind Lowe and would most likely cost half.

CJ Hamilton was a target in January too, doubt he'd even cost a million.

Meant to be quite good wasn't he? Scunthorpe fans seemed to think he was as good as Holmes but he's made an impact in this division unlike Adelukan.

Hamilton looked rapid in their playoff games, bit of a rough diamond though like Barkhuizen I suppose.

That'd do for me.

Yeah, I thought we would have tried for Adelakun.

We have rejected a 1.5 million bid for Furlong from WBA. If we can get between 2-3 million for him then more than happy for him to go. Positioning is terrible for a RB.

He is better at CB but he won't play there as we've signed about 5 CBs.
