Taylor as a sweetener in the deal for him Bobbin' perhaps. Millwall after him as well though I think.

Could be a possibility, our need for strikers is definitely more urgent than a right back.

If true, wages will probably play a part but he would be a guaranteed starter here almost.

Burton managed to stay up, squad doesn't look good on paper but if they're organised and a bastard to play against then they'll have a shot.

You're right, of course. Just difficult to be confident at the moment.

I do agree that we're likely to be a stubborn side. Might be feeling a bit better next week if Bowyer plays the loan market in the same way he did last season.

No clubs have any active bids for Benrahma, Watkins or Maupay, all bids received to date have been turned down, and the expectation at the club is that they'll now stay with us until January at least.

Benrahma is currently injured but both Watkins and Maupay will likely be in the squad on Saturday.

Excellent news!

At the moment, the only player who we are in active talks regarding selling is Canos with Krasnodar, though they still haven't met our valuation and we don't want to sell.

Trying to sign Kieffer Moore for 3m now, that would take our summer spend up to around 8.5 million not including wages. Be very surprised if no one is sold to keep FFP away from the door.

SoutheySWFC Connor Wickham any good? I know it's been a few years since you had him but doesn't seem to have done an awful lot since.

Lots of stuff on Twitter that Coventry's Tom Bayliss could be coming here.

Seems a big prospect.

Was great for us about 5 years ago, big, strong, and scores goals at this level. Done fuck all for years though, I'd forgot he even existed.

Fraizer Campbell, Tom Bayliss and Andre Green should be sorted over the next 24 hours.

Don't know about Lowe, still trying for a keeper, put in a cheeky one for Fraser Forster it seems but doubtful.

Nathan Baker should be fit for Sunday. Had a head knock so missed our game last weekend but it can't be forgotten when he's fit he's as good as Webster, Kalas or any CB in this league.... massive chance for him now to nail a place down in the side and keep himself healthy.
He’s a gobshite needs to be fucked off

Andre Green confirmed on season long loan.

Him, Bodin, Potts, Barkhuizen & Maguire as wide options should be ok.

From what I’ve heard, Sinclair is still a possibility but it’s quite unlikely unless we smash our wage structure.

Luke_1884 , do you rate Max Lowe?

Yeah, be a shame for us to sell tbh. Especially because I imagine it wouldn't be for a great deal of money. Had a great year at Aberdeen last year, was hoping he'd get a chance to compete with Malone this year. Aberdeen and Celtic have been sniffing around him this summer, so he's rated.

He needs a run in a team at this level so would probably fancy the move if he's been told he's second fiddle here. Loads of potential still despite being 22, could make you a lot of money if given the chance to prove himself at yours.

Unsure whether Lowe is a loan or permanent, seems there is confusion at both ends.

Guessing we tried to do a loan but Derby would prefer a full transfer.

Yeah seems to have started out as a loan and now touted as a perm. We don't need 3 senior left backs (Malone and Forsyth the other two) but I'd prefer to sell one of those pair who are on decent contracts as opposed to the academy product on a modest wage no doubt.

Watch this space I guess.

I struggle to see how he displaces Hughes who was one of our best performers last season. Bit of a weird one unless we’re selling Earl.

Lowe was our best player in preseason last year, got a first team chance and struggled a bit. Not embarrassed, but certainly enough to see him sent out on loan. He went to Aberdeen became a key player there, came back and had another chance, didn't go too well, so went back to Aberdeen and won their Players' POTY award.

He's now come back and looks set to play second fiddle to Malone, who by all accounts is a good Championship left back. He's been named in the TOTY before at this level. I just don't trust him to stay fit, same goes with Forsyth who has nearly had more ACL injuries than decent runs in the team over the past couple of years.

I would like to keep him and see him graft for his place because I think he has the ability to do that in a settled side. Bogle was afforded the opportunity, so it would be good to see Lowe in the same boat. I don't think he could've done much more on loan. We're not opposed to selling young talent, as shown with us selling Thomas to Barnsley for £1.something million. I'd expect Lowe to cost in the region of £2-3m for us to sell which could well be a record signing for PNE.

I'm very surprised there wasn't more interest in him at that price - would have loved him at that price in our squad.

Absolutely dreaming if you think we're spunking that on a left back, if he signs it'll be for less than £1m, or it'll be a loan.

Sounds like we might have fucked the Fraizer Campbell deal. Agent Probz.

Never heard of this Bayliss until about three days ago but only seeing rave reviews.
