A good day for us. Bielik could be a great investment for the club, Clarke replaces the void Tomori left too. A winger and a keeper and I'll be happy with our business considering.

How come Derby are so keen to move Carson out, i'd definitely take him at North End unless he's turned to shit over night?

As Southey said, the monies. I like Carson but seems like he's not fancied anymore, had a few injuries last year and a few dodgy moments and couldn't get back in the team. Still a very good goalkeeper. Ideal candidate for a PL 3rd choice keeper, ability and experience in abundance.

So Millwall fans... why did you get rid of Ryan Tunnicliffe? He's been a cracking little player last couple of weeks. See he only played about 30 times last year.

He is decent, but was 4th choice for us and apparently a bit of a lazy twat in training. Never minded him though, was the only one released I disagreed with tbh.

Jesus wept man he’s played one competitive game for you. Calm down.
Kenny once labelled a player the 'non-league Yaya Toure' before he'd played a game, he likes to get excited.

Was I wrong? 3 promotions and 200 games later. I seem to recall myself predicting that he would play in the Championship...
Swindon did alright with Yaser Kasim at L1 level.

Maupay not in the squad today, though sounds like we haven’t yet accepted a bid.

But, must be on his way as we’re replacing him with Mbeumo, French striker costing £5.5m.

Some rumours we’re also in for Max Lowe from Derby.

He's a decent League One player and will do a job for a side fighting relegation I suppose.

I wouldn't call him a cracking player, can't dribble out of a press, won't be finding too many defence splitting passes and can't spread the play.

He recycles possession, runs about the pitch and will score maybe 3/4 goals for you.

A good squad player for this division, but I would be worried if he was a starting player for the whole season.

Ben Thompson however who plays in his position looks like a cracking little player!!!!

Dru Yearwood and Bryan Mbeumo were both at Griffin Park today.

Yearwood apparently joining from Southend tomorrow. Mbeumo we’re still trying to convince to join (not sure today would have helped!)

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Yearwood before. No idea on fee.

Mbeumo fee is lower than previously thought. It’s still £5.5m in total, but only £3.5m up front, the rest is based on goals and promotion to the PL.

We’ve agreed an 8m fee for an 18 year old from Monaco. Started in the CL last season against Atletico and Dortmund? Bit weird.

Bobbin' I hope you read this in the morning as you’re probably (hopefully) rat arsed now but Taylor’s on 12k here and you wanted to pay 1/4 of his wages for a season, shows what sort of budget Bowyer is working with.

I’d sobered up by the time you posted this after a fucking 4+ hour journey home and the shop shut on the train about an hour away from Euston.

Yeah, he’s working with both hands tied behind his back. It’s ridiculous.

We’ve got no chance with that one then basically.

How can any side in this division justify £8m for an 18 year old?

Swansea have made a bid of £3m for Isaac Vassell. That's crazy money for someone who has scored once in 20 in this division but has had a serious injury, but even if we miss out we probably still get around £250k as a sell on fee.

Luton have enquired about taking him on loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

Why the fuck would one of a Monaco's best youngsters who has played European football join Bristol City permanently?

££££££ presumably?

Monaco are loaded aren't they? Probably top 40 clubs in Europe over the last couple of decades.

I'm well out of touch, they finished 17th last year, are they going bankrupt?

I've given up even taking much notice of fees, it's fucking ludicrous. Championship players being signed for 20M, 10M was a ridiculous amount of money a few years ago, now it's just a bog standard player.

Bids accepted from Brighton and Palace for Maupay. £20m up front rising to £25m. Massive shame and blow but that’s too much to turn down.

We’re bringing in Max Lowe, Yearwood from Southend and Bryan Mbeumo using the cash (with plenty left over).
