How can you not spell Preston?
To be fair, the Lashers are reserving PresTen for when we lose our 10th playoff campaign. We disappointed them last time round.

Think Parrott will be a good signing. First spell at this level he was 18 and probably too soon. Had a really good season by all accounts at MK and goal record doesn’t show that story perhaps.

Appreciate its not that simple but I’d have rather gone for that type of loan up front and spent the money we did on Morris on a midfield player. Noticeable that in midfield already Freeman hasn’t featured at all pre season, neither has Pelly, Watson seemingly injured, Lansbury absent from the bench as well on Saturday. Really felt a fresher face in there was needed over what we’ve done (not that I’m unhappy with Morris, just question allocation of resources)

Alvaro Fernandez confirmed. Manc journos saying he was going to be included in their first team until they signed Tyrell Malacia. Supposedly turned down a Bundesliga move to stay in England.

We've just paid a small loan fee and United are covering his wages.

Bjorn Hardley supposedly identified at Deepdale yesterday. Dutch CB from Man United. Not a solid rumour. Left footed too which is where we're ok.

Ellis Simms chose Sunderland over Blackpool after both clubs agreed terms. Colby Bishop also chose to go to Pompey over them.

Their manager walked out for an assistant job, Leroy Rosenior rejected them to stay at Derby, even when their future was unclear, and they eventually settled for an out of work, Appleton.

Blackpool are back.

Cameron Brannagan signs a new deal at Oxford after seeing what was on the table at Bloomfield haha. Can't even tempt players to move up a league.

Mark these words - Elijah Adebayo will leave in this transfer window.

Thought his attitude in the 20 minutes before he came off stank to be honest, yesterday. And when we were trying to win the game just strolled off like we were 3-0 up. Had a moan at Jones when he came off too.

John McAtee is set to sign for Luton on a 3 year deal from Grimsby Town. Scored 16 goals in the Conference last season.

What I worry about if somehow Dennis and Sarr stay .

Oh the surface of it great as they are excellent players but how motivated will they be missing out on a PL move when playing 3 games a week .

He definitely didnt look himself.

Having said that, and may be more hope on my part - he has had a few tiffs with Jones before at games though so it might be that. I remember Coventry last season in a game which we won, he seemed to be really annoyed at the end of the game with Jones and had to be coaxed around by Snodgrass to go to the fans etc. I think he might just not like being subbed.

Ive only seen that we are linked with him for 500k rather than him being set to sign. Looked a really good player in the conference last season, especially the playoff games i saw he was standout. Hes a number 10 type going off that rather than a forward but quite aggressive which would suit us.

We need a right wingback so bad, can't keep playing midfielders there. Evans missing the next three too, so another striker before Hull would be welcome.

Signed McAtee from Grimsby and Pepple Canada today, the latter was rumbling on for a while. McAtee going straight back to Grimsby for the season so not really adding to our numbers but does seem we have too many attacking players on the books now.

Rumours we might be loaning Brooke Norton-Cuffy from Arsenal. RWB who impressed at Lincoln last season.

ITKs at Cambridge suggesting us and Rotherham are interested in Sam Smith. Regarding the Egyptian keeper, the latest rumour is we've made a bid and are planning to loan him out to a European club for a year if he can't get a permit. Seems like everything is perfectly in order there.....
Thank god the Egyptian keeper link appears dead in the water, club probably realised how utterly moronic they were being trying to sign a player with no chance of a permit.

Signed only two players so far, Nyambe from Blackburn and Broadhead from Everton on loan. Need at least a few more in I'd say.

Talk that Ethan Laird to Watford is off and that he might be coming here. Would prefer him to Cuffy, proven at this level.

Would be happy with either, like.

Blackpool are back.

Rosenior spoke to Rooney prior to making his decision and at which time I'd imagine Rooney would've told him he's not sticking around and he would be well-positioned to get the job on a full-time basis.

Rosenior was championed by Curtis Davies, who in a rather damning statement to Rooney, said that Rosenior was effectively the coach last season anyway. We certainly haven't missed a step in that regard and playing very much the same way, albeit with largely a different team.

I fully expected Rosenior to go - glad he's stayed and I think he will have a good season with us!

We've signed Ashley Fletcher on loan. Underwhelming goal return but the way he plays will suit us. An upgrade on Magennis at least.

Gone to QPR it seems.

We've sold Dennis pretty much and look like getting Davis in from Villa as a "replacement"

Did well at Forest last season I remember.

For some reason we've gave him a 5 year contract last summer and then basically sent him out on loan to the MLS and now you.

The Pozzos have done well for us but they do make some bizarre signings.

Fletcher isn't a bad player, definitely much better than Magennis.

Laird situation is weird, looked like he was coming here. Norton-Cuffy still being mentioned but no idea to be honest.

Well I don't suppose loan players get too much say in where they go, but he told Warne he was definitely joining us on Thursday.

Apparently we offered to pay half his £18000 per/wk which for us is ridiculous but Wigan were willing to go higher so off he goes.

I can't honestly say I'm that bothered looking at his recent record, but I do get fed up of other club's nipping in on our targets.

Be nice if Wigan are willing to pay most of his wages.

I presume he won't play against us!

Rotherham interested in signing Stephen Humphrys. Scored against them last season.

Personally, I'd sell if the offer is reasonable. I like him, but he's not impressed this season so far and realistically he's now fifth choice in the pecking order when all our strikers are fit. We need a new keeper, defender and midfielder and if selling him helps to raise funds for that then so be it.

Jacob Holland-Wilkinson joins Stoke after we released him, Rodwell-Grant signed for Wigan, and Ethan Walker went to Blackburn.

No idea how they'll do but it'd be nice to have a development team ourselves. That said, we've handed out about 8 pro deals in the last 12 months so we can't rate those guys too highly.

Talk of Boro making an £11m bid for Riis.

No doubt we would replace him with Callum Robinson and a loan if it happens. Amazed at the amount of fans who aren't fussed about keeping Riis, 21 fucking goals last season.
