Rotherham apparently looking at Admiral Muskwe. I think he needs a league 1 or 2 loan before being a viable championship striker to be very honest im afraid to say and a bit surprised he’s being linked with a championship move. Didn’t seem to do anything amazing at Fleetwood last season and when he played for us which admittedly was sporadic, he looked really really out of his depth.

We paid money for him to get him from Leicester but one of the few signings that really didn’t work out at all.

Matt Crooks was great for us but doesn't seem to have kicked on at Boro', especially since Carrick arrived.

He would improve us no end, but I'm not certain he would improve Ipswich very much.

That plus he always seemed to prefer playing in the north other than a couple of years at Northampton.

It'll be interesting to see if he fancies moving out of his comfort zone.

McKenna often speaks about having different options, and I guess he would be one. If he were to sign, I'd assume he would be in competition with Chaplin who is about half the height. Also, as he's fairly versatile, it may be worth having him in.

I think it's because we will try and get him on a free if all goes well at the end of the season. His contract expires, and although they have an option to extend it, it will cost them over 2 million to do so due to his crazy wages.

Sounds like we may have called it quits on Tom Cannon (came off the bench yesterday) and moved on to the three other targets, a ST, LWB, and an AM would be my guess.

Bidwell is decent, just not spectacular. There is some talk we tried to move him on in Jan so may try again this summer, although he was fairly important in one of the best defences in the league last season so it’s a bit of an odd one. We‘ve played him at both LWB and LCB but never in a back four, although I’d imagine he’d be decent in one. He’s a lot better defensively than he is going forward.

Would Bidwell be available or do you need him as cover? Lowe is supposedly a big fan, we've supposedly asked the question about him anyway.

We're signing Dane Scarlett on loan. Looking at last season it seems underwhelming, but some players just don't fit in some teams style of play. I trust McKennas judgement!

Rotherham United have broken their club transfer record for a second time this summer and have subsequently secured the services of forward Sam Nombe, who joins the club from Exeter City for a fee that will remain undisclosed, subject to EFL and FA ratification.

The fee is seven figures which is a first for us by miles.
At least we are having a go, now we need a couple more to add some depth and get the 6 injured players back so we don't have to fill the bench with kids.

Good luck to him. The guy is a beast and constantly presses, plus he’s quick and knows where the goal is.

Sounds like we got a very good fee and assume we also have a decent sell on. So hopefully he will do well and we can earn more in the future too!

The club also haven't denied the rumours surrounding Osmajic from Cadiz, although he's been training with them this morning. Again, Stoke seem to be favourites to sign him. Wankers.

Our resident nerds have also spotted that a small aircraft landed at Squires Gate airport from Bern at about 5pm.

Canadian international, was in the Liverpool academy, couple of loans at Kilmarnock and Charlton, then Basel signed him for £1.3m. Left winger/ striker. Seems he's been playing regularly over there.

Allan Campbell gone to Millwall for the season. Was a favourite of Nathan Jones but was one of the victims of the tweaks Edwards made to our system when he came in.

Love him to bits, an absolute monster in the press who will cover every blade of grass, and get stuck in. In that sense will suit Millwall very well indeed. Sometimes lacked a bit of quality on the ball but did pop up with the odd goal too. Sad to see him go I think but perhaps a side of progress

I’m pretty happy with Hendrick and Buckley. Disappointed we didn’t get a striker in though. Especially seeing Clarke-Harris go for 800k. We’re gonna struggle for goals til Jan at least.
