Also surprised we didn't buy him but he's very welcome all the same.
Matt Taylor favours 3 centre halves in general but has been known to go to a back four if he thinks it will work better against certain teams.
Probably into the last year of his contract maybe with a further option. Guess it gives both parties the flexibility if Fred has a good or indifferent season to the size of fee.

Di’Shon Bernard the next one in by the sounds of it. Never seen him play but on paper it’s the type of signing we should be making.

A lot of talk that Hamer won’t sign a new deal, and basically confirmed by Robins after the game on Saturday.

Guess we’ll just have to see if we decide to cash in or gamble on keeping him for one more year and letting him go for free in the summer hoping we might go up.

We had him on loan in L1 and he was a good backup CB and occasional RB, but there's no way we'd sign him for the Championship.

Josh Onomah another name linked. Wasn’t overly keen on him last time but I’d probably take him given the state were in.

I wouldn't.

He came to us fat as fuck in January and still didn't manage to get fit over the next five months, managing a combined 440 minutes. We offered him some sort of deal and he pissed us about until we took it off the table (thankfully).

Clearly a talented guy but sounds like his knees turned to wafer at Fulham and he sat around playing FIFA and eating donuts dipped in lard.

Thought he was on trial at Stoke, who can probably afford for him to laze around.

Fair to say he's probably improved with more experience, but I still suspect he might be more suited to League 1.

Cannon supposedly 'way, way, way down the line' to sign for PNE on loan. Likely a £1m loan fee. Our main ITK guy has been adamant he chose us over other clubs weeks ago.

We’ve agreed an apparent £7m deal for USA international striker Haji Wright from Antalyaspor. This is mad.

I'm a big fan, he'll drop the odd bollock but nothing crazy. He's actually a very good passer of the ball, and will go on the odd driving run.
He's got great recovery pace, and he's obviously strong as fuck.

He just needs a proper organizer next to him to keep his positioning in check. He's a top pro and a really likeable player too.

For some reason, our dick head manager drops him at every opportunity. I'd sooner get rid of Lowe than Diaby. When I heard we were looking at CBs, I had an annoying feeling that he might be the guy to make way.

I honestly think he'd be worth a few million after a full season of playing regularly at this level. He absolutely pocketed Gyokeres and dominated the guy up front for Watford as well.

Sounds promising! We’ve already got 4 senior cantre half’s now plus a young lad so I can see an outgoing as well. Iorfa the other way, maybe?

He's not young to be fair, just missed two years of his career because he got done for doping. Diaby for Iorfa would be a nonsense move on our part.

Supposedly Jack Whatmough might be coming in though to add to our collection of disgustingly slow defenders. Training with us today if rumours are to be believed.

Diaby rumour seems to have legs, supposedly his wage demands to extend are 'huge' by our standards.

Despite not addressing our pace issue, I'd be happy with Whatmough as he can play. But we would desperately need to sign another CB with pace too. Maybe an Iorfa swap deal is a possibility.

Id be fuming if we were getting rid of Bambo because Lowe doesn't like him, but if it's down to money, there's not much we can do. As much as I like him, he hasn't earned a good contract yet.

Yeah seems like it’s done. The chairman’s son has followed him on Instagram. That usually means they’ve signed. Our average wage in last years accounts was 9.5k so I don’t think we’ll be offering massive money, Chansiri has learnt his lesson.

Anthony Musaba, young winger from Monaco is also close to signing along with Davis Vasquez, a keeper from AC Milan.

Not happy but hope he does well for you, worked hard to get back to this level.

Maybe a decent signing on fee and a long term deal sealed it for him.

Pretty much everywhere reporting the Cannon loan is done, suppose selling Slater covers the bulk of the £1m loan fee. I rate him higher than Cameron Archer personally, certainly in terms of ceiling.

Does the £ million pound loan fee include all his wages?

Looks like Finn Azaz is signing today.

Couple of strikers and maybe a centre back and we’ll be good to go.

Jack Whatmough confirmed.

We've took Wigan's top scorer, best defender, and two of their coaches for about £150k this summer.

A few seasons back we also took their training ground for a knockdown price.

Quite like them these days.

Bambo to Wednesday confirmed. £150k supposedly.

I've no idea why Lowe and apparently the club don't rate this guy at all, regularly dropped and shifted out at the first opportunity.

Suppose this and the Slater fee would cover the Cannon loan completely, i'm still waiting for those twats Stoke to try and hijack that though.

Someone hid in the bushes outside our training ground yesterday and managed to snap a picture of Haji Wright doing his media duties prior to announcement. Still waiting on it to be made official by the club though.

Once booted the ball clear out of Oakwell for no apparent reason. Love him.
