Panutche Camara has pulled out a loan move to you guys.

Likely destination could be Charlton now, with us looking to farm him out for minutes with possibly a view to recalling him in January.

Yeah, I read that. Apparently the stumbling block is Ipswich don’t want him going to another championship club. I rate our midfield 3 of Byers, Bannan and Vaulks but don’t know enough about Camara to see where he’d fit in.

I liked Camara in L1, his energy is very Kante like. He doesn’t stop. However he just has no technical ability when it comes to the final 3rd. He’d win the ball in his own half, gallop past 3 defenders, get within 25 yards and hit it 5 yards over the bar.

Not good enough for the Championship in my opinion, but a very solid box to box option in L1.

Extremely happy with our business so far and 4/5 have been permanent signings which is great for our future. A pretty solid looking #1 from Celtic who will hopefully compete with Cooper once he has returned from injury.

Two quality centre halves, Lewis Gibson from Everton and Julio Pleguezuelo who played 25 times for FC Twente last season. Both look like huge improvements to what we had last season which was exactly what we needed.

And finally Whittaker who is a match winner and the bit of quality we missed once Swansea recalled him in January.

A combative, box to box CM and a couple half tidy ST and I am extremely confident that will be more than comfortable this season.

Do you think we need a couple players with Championship experience? Saw a chart yesterday saying we’ve got the youngest squad in the division.

I‘d like us to go for Lucas Joao, still a free agent.

Jamal Lewis linked with a loan move .

We need a full back and he did well with Norwich obviously.

Hmm good question mate. Maybe asking a bit much on our budget but A bit of experience next to Randall and an experienced Centre Forward would certainly be favourable.

Pretty busy last couple of weeks for us. Obviously sold Gyokeres for £20m to Sporting but spent a fair bit ourselves too. So far it’s:

Ellis Simms - £3.5m
Tatsuhiro Sakamoto - £1.2m
Jay DaSilva - Free
Joel Latibeaudiere - 500k comp
Brad Collins - undisclosed

To make things more exciting, Robins said in his post-match after today’s friendly that we want TEN more in and he sounded pretty excited about it. Looking forward to seeing who else we’ve got lined up.

Sadly we never got to see whether Mckenna could bring something more out of him... considering he played just 1 minute of competitive football for us.

3 operations later and I wish him the best at Charlton.

That's a massive overhaul of a side that only just missed out in the play-offs.

Is that not a bit “chucking the baby out with the bath water”? Obviously you’ve got a bit to play with now with that money so can afford some quality, but that seems quite a lot of changes for what looked a great side last season? I know you had a few loans in there though.

We’ve had 15 players leave this summer and already had one of the smallest squads in the league. This is some much needed investment in my view.

Of the team that started at Wembley McNally, Norton-Cuffy and Doyle have all returned to their parent clubs and Gyokeres has been sold. We only had one contracted centre back, being 36 year old Kyle McFadzean, until yesterday when we signed Joel Latibeaudiere.

Expecting this season to be translational anyway tbh, getting the play-offs last season was, in my view, a bit of a fluke and also fuelled entirely by having two of the best players in the league playing out of their skin for the last few months. With Gyokeres now gone, and Hamer also potentially leaving, we desperately need to increase quality all over the pitch so we can consistently challenge in the future.

Looks like Wilson-Esbrand has done a u-turn and is going on loan to Reims instead. Don't blame him, we're shit.

Looks like Omari Hutchinson loan deal from Chelsea set to be confirmed today by the looks of it. Can't say I know a lot about him, but said to be a very exciting prospect, plenty of pace!

Fee agreed with Burnley for Bobby Thomas. Right footed CB, spent last season on loan at Bristol Rovers and Barnsley.

That's a lot of money for Bobby. I didnt really see anyone paying that much for him while he was here but think he made a better impression at Barnsley

Currently linked loosely with four players:

Supposed to be after Connor Taylor from Stoke.

Apparently in for Lewis Warrington from Everton.

Finn Azaz heavily rumoured to be coming back.

And this evening Bali Mumba best mate has hinted at his return here on Twitter.

Schuey wants six. I’d say the other two would be strikers. We’ll be a very young team but the lads were signing are definitely talented, even if they lack a little experience.

Potentially a fantastic signing and a 4 year deal too! One Norwich may regret...

Seems Norwich haven't rated him from their friendlies so far, but he's played at RB. Assume he will push forward more for you rather than play in defence?

Murmurs of us signing Layton Stewart on a permanent deal from Liverpool.

We'll see.

Interestingly we’ve been trying out a 4 back in pre-season with inverted fullbacks. Can’t see Mumba fitting in there.

Weirdly his best position is left wing back. His dribbling and pace just beats defenders, playing right wing back he’s got to have the pace + strength to get the better of his man, which isn’t as effective.

Can imagine right back would be a disaster. Not good enough defensively. He’s a steal for a million quid, when played in his correct position.

Yeah, 3yr deal for Layton Stewart.

Liverpool have a buyback clause so shows they haven't given up hope on him.

We're still trying hard for Tom Cannon too, loan obviously.

Potentially a very, very good window this if we add those two and a decent LWB on loan.

Tom Cannon is at our game against Aberdeen today. Everton have two friendlies today as well.

Preston after Dominic Iorfa according to Alan Nixon.

Can’t see us letting anyone go with a squad as small as ours but nothing would surprise me with Chansiri.

Any good? We need more pace and ball-playing ability at the back, does he tick those boxes?
