Harry Amass on loan from Man United is doing the rounds, he's very young but supposed to be a top prospect. Would tie in with talk of it being an 18-month loan.

The last left back we had on loan from them is currently tearing it up for Benfica and being linked to Barcelona.

They took him from at 16.

Certainly seems to be a decent young player .

Not saying he wont work out and clearly no idea what sort of player he might be, but on face value he doesnt seem to have a great goal record for a striker to get 2m for.

I note the bloke mentioned in the article as his replacement has a much better goal and assist return this season (albeit in the league below) and is younger for 400k. On face value decent bit of business by Utrecht.

Indeed that did pass my mind! He’s been better lately and I think reputed fee isn’t going to be met because it’s all the add ons included but, not looking great right now for sure

Think it was an initial £6M plus add ons. Presumably one of which was making his debut for Ireland at Wembley recently. Signs of improvement for sure, but he’s not worth half that amount.

The deal was agreed in the summer but the Swedish side held back until their European campaign was ended.
