Some on our end seem convinced Kieffer Moore to Bristol City is imminent. Any news on your end @Bristol City lot.
Is it that Matty kid on Twitter? If so he's taking the piss as our fans are gullible and will go with anything.

We’ve turned down a £6.5m rising to £9m bid for Sergi Canos from Krasnodar

Was brilliant first season, poor the second and now released on the eve of the third. Lots of rumours around which I wont repost here for legal reasons!

Morison did say some of the stuff behind closed doors last season was a disgrace, and that certain people might never play in this country again if the truth got out. Speculation that this referred to Meredith, but in all honesty no one knows.
Shame, good player but he did like the party seen when he was up here as well. it took Parkinson getting him into line to sort him out, still didn't stop him shagging half of Leeds and his partner telling everyone on Twitter he had an std.

Bit of a squad player isn't he? If so seems a good offer. Where have Krasnodar got so much money from?

Jamal Lowe is finally on his way. Pompey press reporting a fee in the region of 2.5m. Suspect that’s just the upfront fee considering we supposedly had 2.6m turned down a couple of weeks back.

No signings for weeks then all of sudden we’re probably going to be announcing 3-4 players all at once. Typical Latics.

He’s struggled to get back into the team because Watkins and Benrahma have been so good. He’s an excellent player though so I hope we keep him.

Joel Valencia confirmed.

Finally we have some right back rumours today - James Bree and some chap at Crawley called Sesay.

Know nothing about either but Bree would swell our already healthy ex Barnsley ranks!

Sesay seems the one that had most chatter behind it though.

It does appear annecdotally that clubs are least prepared in this division, to get their moves done early and those that are, are at a good early advantage. Last minute rush, as was predicted a few days ago after the PL pre-season tours are done.

Certainly splashing the cash this week. I actually don't want us to sign too many players because we have some excellent youngsters coming through that could have big careers and if a success would in todays market be worth a shed load to cash in on.

We have to take a leaf out of Norwich, Brentford, Sheff United and Bristol Citys book, from the past couple of seasons, perfect role models for self sustaining, whilst continually strengthening. Glad the Hugill deal fell through. Gelhardt and Lang are going to be far better players. May only have recently turned 17 but think Gelhardt will have a big impact this season, looks the real deal and is physically strong which is a big factor in stepping up.

Rather have Hugill than waiting four years for someone to be as good as him tbh.

It's a scorer more than a grafter we need. To be fair was impressed with Garner last season, worked hard and was great at winding people up, so that they made silly mistakes. Had a 1 in 2 goal scoring rate as well. Hugills wages were huge and 3.6m fee as well, for our revenue was too much for a none scorer.

Who was better for Preston on a whole Garner or Hugill?

Garner bossed League One but Hugill was far more effective at this level. Love Garner but wouldn't have him back, whereas I'd have taken Hugill on loan.

Rather have Garner, over a 34yr old Nugent though!

I preferred Garner and thought he would have scored more goals than Hugill in our 2nd season with McGeady supplying him. He got 6 in the first season but we were fucking awful to watch and barely created anything.

I think Hugill created the space for Mcgeady to do the damage rather than the other way round. Garner was just lacking as a lone front man, hindered by his lack of pace.

He's a finisher though and a good option from the bench. There's a reason why one joined a Prem side for £10m though and the other went to Scotland for £1.8m.

Garner still in my top 5 PNE players though. Top 3 probably.

We've still got the Greggs to sell ourselves for 40 million yet, plenty of transfer budget.

Pretty open Bowyer isn't he Bobbin', not the first time he's spoken publicly about players involving us. Seem to remember him commenting on Eisa and saying it hinged on us signing Hogan, he's just come out with this as well -

Just seen it myself, yeah he’s great. He never bullshits, it’s refreshing. Not sure if the other clubs involved will like it though

That presser does not make good reading for us, injuries, competing with league one clubs for players, not seeing any of the Lookman money.

We’re doomed already. Just going to be a case of going round the country getting pissed and enjoying our year’s break from the Checkatrade trophy I think.
