He’s still been one of the best players in every game, including tonight. Without him we wouldn’t have even scored a goal…it’s the tactics killing us, they don’t work in this shit division.

Obviously happy as a Wimbledon supporter but that sending off was bloody ridiculous. Up until then I thought Crewe were slightly the better side . Listening to the Crewe manager after the game he said it was only the refs 5th game in the EFL. That probably says it all. Anyway onto Salford on Saturday which no doubt will be a feisty game .

Can I just give a shoutout to Agent Lemon for the grand job he's doing? One of our best players last season is apparently one of their worst this time round. Must be loving it there.

I would've hated to see the state of the Sky commentator's undies every time Crowley got the ball.

Don't think I've ever enjoyed watching us vs Accrington. Niggly and horrible throughout. They hit the bar and we didn't have much apart from the goal. The ref was so bad I had to check my phone to see if Vale were playing.
It's always the same when Wimbledon play Accrington. They are always dire game's as was last Saturday at their place.

Their players must have brittle bone disease or something, I thought they were getting sniped left right and centre.

That sending off for Crewe was ridiculous. Truly appalling refereeing.

Shall we just give Bradford every home game as a 1 nil home win between now and the end of the season?

The only ones I enjoyed were the two playoff matches in 2016 and the home match earlier that season where Trevor Kettle blew for halftime just before a free kick went in the goal. If that had stood, the entire makeup of the playoffs would have been different and I doubt that we'd have got through to the final.

Pretty much copy and paste against us. Awful side who didn't really offer anything, even when we had 10 men. Loved going down at any contact. It's got to be an instruction from management. Poor way of playing football really.

We've been poor recently, so I think even if he wasn't sent off, we would have more than likely lost the game.

I usually laugh off poor officiating, because it's just part of lower league football. A lot of the players and managers are pretty shit, so it stands to reason some of the ref's will be too. However, that decision tonight was laughable. Not as bad as the Vale 'goal' at Bromley that was closer to the back of the net than the goal line, but not far off. I reckon if the ref had allowed a random Wimbledon fan who was 5 pints deep to make the decision, Knight-Lebel would have played 90 minutes.

Fair play to the Wimbledon fans btw. Almost unanimously fair with their critiques of the incident.

A nice clear view of the incident. Is it a penalty? Yes, probably. But then, if that's a penalty, refs should be giving 10 a game as it happens at every set piece and most crosses.

However, it's clear as day it's not denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. Their lad moves away from where the ball landed, as he clearly anticipated the cross going deeper than it did. Even if Knight-Lebel had let him go(as he should have done), he was never getting close to getting on the end of that cross. Send this in and it should be an easy appeal win. Although with the PGMOL, probably not.

Pen for me, but never a red. Never. Ever.
If he had given the pen and a yellow card, he would have been praised for having the balls to give it. Far too much of that nonsense in the box gets ignored, and defenders should be punished for it. But the red card has completely undone his good work.

I agree with the consensus on here. Wimbledon penalty, though quite rare for them to be given for that level of holding, but never a red card.

Could have done with that ref in the Rovers game though. Adam Herczeg seemed to be better suited to a rugby game, with the amount of holding he tolerated, which included bear hugging one of our players during a Rovers corner.

I know the vale fan referee thing is funny but to be fair to us...the Crewe ref was the one that sent Mitch Clarke off but missed a worse red from chesterfield, and Adam herczeg sent Tom Sang off v Accrington which was unanimously agreed was a ridiculous decision on here. Maybe we've just had a run of having all the worst clowns. Wishful thinking probably.

Its a penalty and a yellow at worst but can't see how its a red, Tom Pope used to get wrestled like that loads and don't recall a red! Only possible thing could be if it is for dissent after?

Seems like another home game where Newport have been on the back foot and conceding loads of chances yet come out with a win, vs us, Morecambe and Carlisle.

In fact, looking at their run of four wins they've conceded 77 shots, 24 of which on target, and have won 1-0, 2-1, 3-0 and 1-0. Crazy.

Our Staggy friends were still regular attendees on here even though they’d gone up, not so much lately though…

It's impossible not to notice. Yo could say it's a direct correlation with them slamming on the breaks and deciding to be very consistent this past month but I'd rather be more positive and just put it down to them fully enjoying operating in their highest division for 45+ years.

The immediate impact of selling him really does seem to have been stocks in our possession figure plummeting and stocks in our wins column going through the roof. Who knew, eh?

MK have dropped a massive bollock there then as it looks like all those players you sold that were all shit would've fitted in perfectly in this division and maybe you'd be doing a bit better.

I saw the Sang red footage and thought it was the wrong call, yet Vale didn’t try appealing it, any idea why not? I know Rovers used to get input from a local ref as to whether any appeal would be likely to succeed, maybe got similar input?

Correct, we had local referee's look at it and they said they didn't feel it would be over turned.

I mean to be fair, these highlights, or at least our ones, should just be titled Crowley vs Barrow. Could have had 3 great assists, had we been able to finish one easy chance (Gilbey should have left the rebound off the post for Hogan to tap in his second goal) and that offside header from Hogan was also marginal.

Just need to get away from this possession for possession sake style which we have had for years. It's apparently in our "club's DNA, from academy to first team", but I suggest we change it, at least while in L2, because pretty football doesn't work. See Mike Wiliamson at two clubs, and currently Scott Lindsey is actually worse...

Compare that to the one Wimbledon committed against us a couple of weeks ago that wasn’t given and it is absolutely laughable.
Further compounded by them then getting the winner with a blatant handball into the net.
Vale fans would be marching on Whitehall!
