That is the worst half of passing I’ve ever seen us put in

Bizarre this season seems like we’re always shite first half and then usually great in the second.
Hopefully we continue that tonight.

Comfortable first half, last 10 minutes we became really sloppy though. We have a tendency, through complacency or arrogance to always give teams a sniff so the games far from over yet as I expect Tranmere to come onto us more.

Crawley are shite and we’ve been the better team but gifted them two goals.

Woeful second-half showing from us. Only one side looks like winning and it's not us. Not sure what Hughes said at half time.

Cook makes it 2-1. Much, much better. Come on now, City. See this out.

Orient matched Crawley tonight for their antics. Nearly paid the price in the last minute but we missed the penalty. Surely you can’t be like that every week??

Disappointed with just a draw from that, but shows where we're still lacking - someone to stick the ball in the net. Truth be told first half was reasonably even, both scoring from a scrappy 6 yard box finish. Mandron stuck away a header from a corner which was disallowed for....some reason.

Second half only one side in it, we bossed it. Some of our approach play was fantastic but we just didn't have the final ball. Dreadful reffing performance really halted some of our attacks with early whistling. Mandron had another chalked off for offside which was correct, but then Jordan Green was thrown halfway to Scarborough in injury time which the man in the middle failed to spot.

Another point, a good performance, but should've won.

Get in. Andy Cook to the rescue. I think that's 9 in 10 in all competitions. Lovely.

Lawrence Vigouroux, 94th minute penalty save. Has to be the best keeper in the league. Ugly win but that’s what gets you promoted. Great team goal tho. Up the O’s

Just picked my lad up from the game and pretty much his assessment too, although he said your disallowed goal looked onside though.
Said you had a blatant penalty not given in injury time and you should’ve won.
Positives for is us that we are not usually that shit, but we still managed to scrape a point from it.

Watched on TV (like you I suppose). No idea why your two goals were ruled out; we were certainly not the best team tonight.

All I can say is I’m unsure how we didn’t lose 5-0 what a load of shite, McSheffrey is very much on borrowed time

Three times as many shots and 60 per cent possession but we still managed to lose to Crawley and gift them three goals.

Off to the relegation thread.

Was unable to watch the match tonight but very happy with a 0-0.

Hoping it was a much improved performance from the recent string of poor displays.

We were much improved tonight but we are so unfit it is unbelievable, they were all on their arse after an hour, we sat back and back and back again and guess what they score.

We deserved to win but if the manager and his coaches can't get the team fitter despite 10 days off and still resorts to plonking everyone behind the ball, low block whenever we score we will not get enough points to stay up.

i thought pretty much the same - you started well for the 1st 15 mins - but when we attack at pace we cause most teams a lot of problems. Could have been 4,5,6 etc at the end.

Very happy with that, Tranmere had 1 shot on target which they scored although put us under a bit of pressure. We still need to be better in the final third with our decision making. We pass when we should shoot and vice versa.

Still into the playoffs and next the shithouse Steve Evans c***.

Second was 100% offside

Yeah it was, first one ruled out though I don’t know what for. But it seems the ref’s whistle had gone before it hit the back of the of the net.

Carlisle were very well drilled and nullified us, not sure we would have scored against them if we played till Saturday.

Ugh. That's not gonna be a pretty game, is it? Would make my year if we stuffed 'em.

Thought we were good value for the win in the end. First half we were the better side albeit got a bit sloppy in possession towards the end of the half.

Second half we knew they'd come out all guns blazing but our game management was poor, we didn't slow the game down and ride out the storm. They put us under pressure for 10/15 minutes after the equaliser but didn't have any real clear cut chances then Cook out of nowhere wins us the game. Could have had another couple late on but we managed the game well in that period.

We were shite.

No disrespect to Crawley on a night where they'll be celebrating a win but they are as awful as the table showed. They met their match tonight. We've torn up our team from last season and we now need a serious re-think on how we approach things going forward. Frustrating thing is we'd have lost to your Aldershot, Woking, Maidenhead type teams. I put it down as the league catching us out, I can't say that tonight.

Wow. That’s pleasantly surprising to hear.

Not great that if we’ve played well we haven’t scored, but we’ve been crap recently so to hear we were the better side can only be a positive thing which I hope we can follow up on Saturday.

Draw would have been a fair result for me. Can’t really remember a decent chance for you aside from the goals Cookie scored. He towered above to score that second header when Nevitt glanced one wide for us about 10 mins before and that was the difference.

First half we were poor and just seemed to have no game plan but to hit it long which the Bradford Number 5 lapped up. Second half much better for 20 mins and could have added to the lead. After Bradford went 2-1 up we looked short of ideas and they saw the game out well.

Not having Mellon unfortunately. 7 points from 8 games with some of the performances we’ve had just isn’t good enough. Got more than a good enough squad to play some good football and move up the league but we’ve got a manager that only knows a direct style and the only way that’s taking us is down.
