I dunno how many we’ll concede tomorrow but we do have the worst defence in the league so probably a couple.

Quinn still suspended for another five games although Clarke should be back, no idea what Clough will or can do at CB, Rawson and Nartey I imagine. Shudder.
Oldham might have something to say about that accolade.
Both teams to score seems likely. Our defence isn’t exactly water tight and from what I’ve read Mansfield can perform well at the other end of the pitch.

Terrible performance, terrible football, Zach Clough looking absolutely lost in amongst our weird clear it and hope tactics. Late equaliser cancelling out Scunthorpe’s first half goal.

I wouldn't mind Zach Clough at Bradford City. I think he would score a hat full in our team. You need to play to certain strikers strengths, something we failed miserably with Eoin Doyle a couple of years ago with our then poor tactics

The Sixfields Tavern at the top of the hill or the Walter Tull pub also at the top of the hill are ok. Decent pints and the early kick off is on big screens. Also have a big outdoor area and away fans are welcome.

They‘re chain pubs but are set up for a football crowd so are fine enough.

A ‘proper pub’, you’re probably looking at the Melbourne Arms in Duston which is 0.9m from the ground according to google maps.

We are the early kick off ;)

Thanks for the response, looking forward to what should be a good game. Absolutely no idea what to expect but neither side score lots of goals, I'll be happy with, and predict a 1-1 draw.

We are a threat, Oli Hawkins is a nightmare upfront, he’s potentially our best centre back too but Clough doesn’t want to move him because he’s playing so well. Danny Johnson finally got a goal in open play last Saturday, I’m expecting a performance from him tomorrow now.

Clough is an enigma to me. When he broke on the scene for Bolton a few years ago he seemed a player who would push on for a decent career at least top end of league 1 or in the championship. We signed him with much excitement , based on his form at Bolton and Forest, and he was bang average when he played and usually didn’t make our squad.

Seems weird. The terraced away stand holds over 1k alone, so absolutely no idea.
There are already rumblings that we should do likewise for your visit.

Missing Rovers v Salford. Some encouraging signs in the Pizza Cup win over Leeds kids, but some of our better players that night were older; Maynard and Foley. There is a danger we'll run out of steam with a team mostly comprising oldies, so a difficult call for the manager. Hopefully Calum Macdonald will be fit to start at left-back, he's been badly missed. Actually think a point would be a decent result from this one, unsure we'll get it.

Our CB Manny Onaraise can play tomorrow after serving his suspension.

He got a straight red card and only missed one game due to this, shouldn't he have a three game ban?

It depends what he got the red card for. Violent conduct usually 3 games, but denying goalscoring opportunity is 1 for example.

Losing Godwin-Malife and Ebu Adams had disrupted our flow. I think we have compensated now. Dealing with injuries and suspensions is all part of it. Adams will be available for this match and I think we will start him in favour of Aitchison. I don't think we'll start two former Stevenage men, and Adams, although less influential playing further up front, helps balance the side. So Matty Stevens likely to be the one to stay in.

We've lacked pace at the back without Godwin-Malife, that has made us vulnerable, but we've tightened up a bit now. I think we'll keep the the same back line without Cargill.

A low scoring game, hopefully 1 nil, but ready for anything.

You’ll get more as soon as you sell it out/get near. That much is pretty obvious, not sure why people get so bothered?

Looking forward to this one today. Win this and that will have us handily placed just around the top 7 with a game at Scunny to follow. Obviously can’t put too much stock into league position right now but always better to have points on the board.

I believe Harrogate tend to favour using a 4-4-2 which I’m not sure our wingback system will match up well against as they can outnumber us on both flanks. Maybe switch to a 4-3-3 today might be the best option for us to give them some problems.

Weather is absolutely awful up here today! I hope the away fans are under cover at Brunton? Can’t remember where they sit. Been a while since I’ve been

Lot of rozzers knocking about in town so no trouble please Agombar stool

I couldn't fight sleep Eric so I'll be well behaved. I've never understood why people want to fight/cause trouble over which football team they support, but that's another discussion.

Football and rugby on today in town is probably making the local constabulary nervous. Let's hope nothing kicks off today.

Expecting few goals today but in amongst a good atmosphere. Did we not offer part of the east stand to Swindon also? Unsure why if not.

Expect Swindon to have more of the ball but we soak up pressure well this season. Could see a 1-0 either way or 1-1.

Probably a 7 goal thriller incoming now.

Went to Goole last night. No sleep since Thursday
Not surprised. That Hash Brownie you thought you'd bought in the North Eastern Hotel was actually an oil-cake (cows, for the use of).

Ought to help the flow of bull shit, I suppose...

Nobody has explained why we didn't get tickets in the East Stand, we usually do and the demand was there. The rumour is that the trouble at Stevenage has caused clubs to restrict our numbers. I imagine the extra police/stewarding costs probably meant it wasn't worth NTFCs time, money or effort.

The rugby lot won’t head to town they’ll be heading in from the surrounding villages in their 4x4’s and red trousers
