Have I missed a sudden upsurge in the away support of either Crewe or Harrogate?
Harrogate will be a big home gate boxing day ( when was our last game on BD ? ) and I assume Crewe will bring a good few with them doing well . I might be wrong mate tbf

Crewe will bring 350 at most.

Of course, a few years back it would have been Crewe, Harrogate and Notts from that list, but Notts have had their upsurge...

It's good that Vale is the 29th - Boxing Day away followings are always lower unless the game is relatively local. If we finally manage some homes wins, Vale could be close to a full house.

Should be decent that one from us, at the moment its not showing on Sky despite not being a 3pm Saturday kick off which is interesting? Boxing Day and NYD are.

I don't bet.

I've had to book holiday for this evening but I may have been better off working in a nice warm supermarket.
I've got to be honest I'm not to keen on going tonight and I'm a season ticket holder.

I can't reply to anything but for the Vale fan - I think all games outside the regular 3pm Saturdays are on sky + so I'm pretty sure it will be on ; it's on a Sunday isn't it ?

Freezing cold Tuesday December night at home to Accrington after god knows how many home defeats in a row, be lucky to pull 4500 in for this one.
Pleased I’m working to be honest so I’ve got an excuse not to go, 9/4 on an Accrington win is ridiculously good value too.

Fun fact. Unless you want to take the as-the-crow-flies shortest route over the Pennines, Grimsby is a longer away day by distance than MK Dons, Swindon, Newport and Carlisle for us. Couple that with it being a regular haunt for Crewe fans, the less than stellar condition of the away end at Blundell Park(I know, our away end is hardly winning awards) and the fact it's 2 weeks before Christmas and even 300 is optimistic. We took 132 last season when we were 5th around the same time of year. Be happy if we crack 200 to be honest.

No resting Stockley for the weekend he starts with Tolaj, big boost Kyle John is back after two months out, Nathan Smith makes a rare start after personal problems but still no Byers just yet so makeshift central midfield partnership, with Connor Grant or Tom Sang there (one at Wing Back could be either).

Happy with that, such is the squad Jack Shorrock after his heroics a week ago doesn’t make the 18 and man of the match Hart is on the bench!

7 changes here. That’s confirmed that we’ve 11 players out for this as mentioned, so the squad is stretched to the point where we’ve got a 19 year old RB making his first full professional start today.

Well we're definitely down to the barebones at home to Newport tonight. All youngsters on the bench.

Jatta and McGoldrick partnered up front as requested as Didzy returns from injury.

However our best defender and possible player of the season so far Platt out as expected. Thankfully we are well stocked in centre halves.

In-form loanee George Abbott is also out which I wasn't expecting. Going to miss his energy and quality for sure. So add him to the frankly ludicrous list of midfield injuries.

Dan Crowley's minor injury aka knock weeks and weeks ago certainly isn't healing quickly :pond:

Means teenager Cisse starts.

The squad is stretched is an understatement.

1-0 vs Chesterfield after barely a minute, Scott Hogan with a Joe Pritchard assist (another assister to add to our long list I think) …make it 6 wins on the bounce please…up into the autos currently lovely stuff

Harry Smith with a lovely bullet header into his own top corner, nice.

Not even 15 seconds had gone by. Almost certainly our fastest goal I’d imagine

Great start from us. Accrington looking every bit a side that to pens at the weekend but we look bang on it and are all over them.

We're wiping out a third of a season of crap GD in one half of football.

I’ll be honest that 9/4 in an Accrington win isn’t looking quite so good now.

Think Swindon might be going down this season.

Loving Walsall vs Notts stats. 80% Notts possession, 0 shots, 0 anything vs Walsall 20% and 6 shots. They sound like us under Williamson.

Aaron Nemane assist, Alex Gilbey goal. Lethal duo this season. 2-0 and Chesterfield down to 10 men. Hopefully game over…

Honestly, absolutely furious with this. Oldakers just been sent off for dissent, cooks started some right back that’s nowhere fucking near ready and now dragged him after 26 minutes. I get we’ve injuries but this is absolute self destruction from us.

Worst part is, from what I’ve seen so far, MK looked there for the taking ffs
