Was referring to O’Toole sitting on our keeper for your disallowed goal. We had the better chances I thought - Hudlin and Jeohcott should have buried a couple. 2 pretty ordinary teams overall. Fair result.
Lol it was a smash and grab for a point bit well done thats football.

Not sure that's a fair comparison. I've seen that porno and thought it was decent although I'd had 6 pints. I'd had 10 tonight and still thought it was shit.

We both looked dreadful, didn't we? Our games are never classics but blimey.

Hobson will be recalled & back Saturday I reckon with Oldaker now suspended and Cook confirming that Naylor won’t be fit for the weekend.

Leaves us with literally just Banks fit and available in there.
Banks shouldn't be in there, and I'm not sure that is Hobsons position either. So yea, no one. You do what you want, but I'll be worrying about this shit show of a season. Cheers

Trying to think of another club that depends on one player like we do with Cook. We'd be in bother without him.

Where's the ref found an extra minute from there??? Fucking c***
Going to hazard a guess it was from our time wasting, how he only found 3 mins in the first place was hilarious.

Thought we were decent if not spectacular and really gave Vale a proper game. Fair play to them for going right to the end, and the goal was a great strike.

They didn’t half celebrate the draw at the end mind…

You know what I don’t like… the secrecy around our injuries and the timescales. Cook literally gives nothing away in terms of how long people are going to be missing for in his interviews so fuck knows when we’ll have people back.

Like where’s Jones? And what’s going on with Metcalfe? Etc….

Was a bit of a struggle for us at times tonight in possession at least. Looked a lot better when the subs came on and I think it’s probably the point for Saturday I’d be looking at Benicio, Curtis and Paton in as attacking options. Don’t think Tolaj helped his cause tonight, he seems good every game for a kamikaze pass that puts in the opposition at some point. Might have got away with that in the league below but not as he goes higher up. Either way point gained and Saturday should be interesting now.

I'm not having that, no way Vale celebrated a last minute equaliser :fl::brill:

There’s bad and there’s bad and for 99.9% of tonight that was really bad.
We for large parts were in ‘sacked in the morning’ territory but I can’t bring myself to go through another managerial change and another after that and another after that and still be in the same place when the root of the problem runs so much deeper than which journeyman manager we have that particular season or which players come and go in their 2/3 year cycle.
I get the GA out’ers but I can’t agree with it, no doubt tonight was truly abysmal but what happens next? He goes, Pete Wild comes in rinse and repeat in twelve months? I think we’re a formation change and spending on reinforcements away from a Play Off finish. No way can we continue to rely on Cook it’s unsustainable but our only system, the decision to go that way falls on more than Alexander, even going back to previous windows under this regime that have lumbered us with over priced deadwood that meant better players didn’t arrive during the summer.

Curtis has to start, he was unplayable when he came on and that strike was a stunner. Ruari did well too, them two are just mad and compliment each other.

If Notts County sack Maynard, I wouldn't rule out their owners' super computer pulling out the name David Artell.
That's with the 5 year plan setting on the super computer turned up though, haven't their owners turned that dial to zero and turned up the instant success dial instead...Steve Evans isn't available though - he's just found 2,500 gourmet pies on a bit waste ground in Yorkshire and is thinking of retiring...

Very droll. Do we have to go over this again? I have no, zero, zilch issues with teams celebrating late equalisers. What's the point of being a fan otherwise?

My issue was with Crewe celebrating a 1-1 draw at the end of the game like they had won. Particularly when they should have taken 3 points. I'm sure fans were pleased tonight at the end, but surely you can see the different scenarios?

I was actually pleased at the end of the game but also a little disappointed that we played a pretty average team tonight but didn't do enough ourselves to win.

Is that last sentence a little bit of shit stirring after LVs comment re Crewe? Fair play if so.

Good summary that, Si. Draw was fair tonight. Frustrating that it took going behind to wake us up. 1st half was even but we showed a couple of times we had a bit of quality, but wasteful and clumsy. On the flip side Cheltenham also had 2 decent half chances. Either side could have gone in 1 up in a half that lacked quality.

2nd half, terrible start, then the subs completely change it. We showed urgency and it felt like one of them nights where it just wasn't going to drop for us. Couldn't believe he only put 3 minutes up, so when we missed the header from the corner on 93 mins expected the ref to blow from the goal kick. Couldn't believe it when we scored on 94.

The celebrations are from the fact it meant we cling to top spot. On 93 mins we were 2nd.

Metcalfe’s must be quite bad. Think I already said I’ve seen him with a boot on. But nothing officials been said. Same as Daley Campbell, Jones etc. Tanton out for 6 weeks but we dunno what he’s done

We conspired to turn a 3-0 win into 3-2, the Walsall way to keep us all one step away from a heart palpitation. Didn't think County would score unless we handed it to them on a plate, and we did for both goals. Though County could possibly say the same in reverse.

Most of the goals were just awful from the defending team I thought. Three rubbish pieces of goalkeeping in there, an idiotic penalty concession from your guy, and your second which was a complete mishit that dribbled into the corner. Other than that no one really created anything for themselves, it deserved to be 0-0 more than 3-2.

That was basically our reserves which doesn’t help, but you can see why I’d expect you to be up there at the end and us not. At least when you tried to do stuff you did it with a bit of pace. We are sooooo slow.

Very fortunate point for Newport. Nothing wrong with our disallowed goal.Bar Carlisle Newport were the worst team I've seen this season. Too many out injured or else it would've been a very comfortable win. It is what it is.

I can't reply to anything but for the Vale fan - I think all games outside the regular 3pm Saturdays are on sky + so I'm pretty sure it will be on ; it's on a Sunday isn't it ?

I don't think Artell will go anywhere anytime soon unless we walk through league 2 or go down tbh . Not sure Notts should get rid of that Maynard , I mean their record is ok this season -- all managers down here seem a much of a muchness to me ; Derek Adams seems the best but only at Morecambe all the others doing well have decent resource don't they?

Surely you can see a joke when it's being made.

And it wasn't just the goal that was celebrated, it was after the final whistle as well. Fans trying to jump on the pitch - and it's not like it was even a local game.

The real difference is that I get it, and so does everyone else, but your dig at the Crewe fans for the exact same thing your fans did deserves to be called back on.

It depends on why it was moved. We have Friday night games against Tranmere and Gillingham that were moved by the clubs and not because of Sky, so they aren't being shown on Sky Sports Plus

Definitely didn't deserve to be 0-0 the first 5-10 mins in the second half warranted a goal. Should have scored during that spell.

I didn't find the game dull at all thanks on part to poor defending from Notts. Surprising off nights for the likes of Bass and Bedeau at the defence.

Stupid penalty concession by the Walsall lad, you just can't do that and then looked surprised when a foul is given.

McGoldrick looked better than most on show with intermittent class on display to link play. Impressed with Lowe, Hall and Barrett for Walsall.

All fit I think we are a Top 3 aide.
Most fit I think we are a Top 7 side
Loads out we are mid table at best.

When Cisse Austin Hinchy are 3 of your 5 midfielders you are in trouble.

Our biggest issue is we aren't strong enough in the middle of the park. Missed Abbots energy and Robertson's tenacity and strength.

I get it completely - of course they were - but when one of your fans criticises another club then I think it's ok to have a little dig about it

To be fair I was in the dog house for waking the wife and kids up cheering when that went in! Meant keeping top spot and as I said about the Crewe celebrations more relief than anything.

We've been below par for a few games now, (no surprise since Garrity is out adding to Byers) but Byers being back hopefully imminently should improve that and for being below par we are still 1 league loss in 14.

I thought the 3 minutes on the board was the sub! was stunned at that expected 6 or 7! so did expect the referee to blow up and was furious when we played a ball into the channel rather than just pumped from the back into the box  Cracking goal though and great work from Paton, those two are infectious around the place so good to see the impact they had, is that Curtis first league goal for us? If so that makes it something like 14 different scorers now?

Tolaj was poor, he has been a bit of a let down but doesn't help with this rotation system as he hasn't been injured but not featured for weeks!

I woke my daughter up too, also got a bollocking .

Curtis scored a header v Fleetwood. I feel a bit for Tolaj, Paton and Curtis. This rotation system works to an extent, but think that's why we've scraped 1 nils. Eventually you're going to be on the wrong end of one and get it wrong. For it to work every time you've got to have some luck going your way. The good thing is we have players like them to come and change the game if needs be.

Tolaj and Paton when they do play are often out of position. I do wonder what would happen if we settled on our strongest 11 (who knows what that is) and allowed some partnerships to embed. Think a few of them 1 nils would have been 2, 3 or 4 nils.

Could pin the poor performance on Moore yesterday, he got it wrong, but then his changes meant we got a point.
