I’m sure you won’t.
Besides / we have conceded 70 goals. Some come fill your boots. We can score lots but are dreadful at the back.
Well as a minimum we’d have to match MK Dons’ points haul in the next seven games plus not lose ground on Accrington and Morecambe either to still be in contention. All have more points than us since September. So it’s a strong possibility.

Your defence is shaky but you are scoring and winning occasional games which is keeping you out of trouble. We weren’t creating chances for months. Now we are but our strikers have lost all confidence. And we can’t keep clean sheets either. So yeah, not feeling confident of staying up!

Bit frustrated we called off the game against Barnsley, especially as only 2 got called up...

Saying that, Broadhead and Burns are really important players. We do have ridiculous strength in depth though, so no real need.

Hoping it works in our favour, with our bigger squad and Barnsley having to squeeze an extra game in to the end, although it's only one after tonight (not sure when the other is?).

Hoping for a draw tonight, as Sheff Wed may not be so out of sight then, although I'm grasping at straws as they're deserved champions I think.
I thought it had to be 3?

Would like to see us go 2 up front tonight and put our poor away form to bed in a game that potentially is there for the taking. Wednesday to beat Barnsley as well please

This season just won't put us out of our misery. "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!" as Michael Corleone might say.

We are just about still in the play- off hunt, but in the knowledge that one more bad week will finish us. We have a batch of winnable games coming up: Port Vale, Forest Green and Morecambe at home, and MK Dons away.

Due to a weird fixture quirk we will jump ahead of Bolton if we win our next three, but only because Bolton won't be playing due to International break and Pizza Cup commitments. However, Bolton have the easiest remaining fixtures of anyone on paper so this is likely to be short-lived. Derby might be most vulnerable after their weird defeat last weekend and tougher fixture list.

Lots of ifs and buts though, and now I've mentioned the dreaded P word we will no doubt fall flat on our faces against Vale.
Realistically if we have the same back 3 that finished on Saturday then we might be in trouble. It's typical that we play you at home when you were flying earlier in the season and now your form has picked up again. Why could we not have met in the in-between period when you were having a stinker?

What's your pitch like? If it's not a sand and clay pitch like ours then we tend to be a bit better. Can't see past a home win here though. We've been on the beach since about December. I personally think we are maybe 1 to 3 points away from being definitely safe and you can tell we don't have much to play for.

Yes, it's true. You needed to play us in the Autumn when the arse completely fell out of the Cowley regime. We're probably playing our best footy of the season at the moment and Colby Bishop is in a mean goalscoring mood.

Our pitch is pretty good. Nothing happens on it except for Pompey games. We have a beach about 10 minutes from the ground that your players are welcome to use.

I’d rather we got those 3 points in the bad before deciding to go Benidorm!

Looks like lovely weather in Accrington. When things are going your way eh, what a ridiculous deflection!
Was a slight nick, didn’t change the direction of the ball much though Ha!

Cracking finish there by Devante Cole.

Edit - an equally impressive one straight after by Norwood.

Brilliant start from Barnsley.

Yes, something strange with Greg Leigh’s call up by Jamaica. Supposedly they told us he would be in their team but then changed their mind after the game was postponed.

What a fucking horrific start! Our usually brilliant defence so poor.

Better for the last 15/20 mins or so and had a couple of really good chances.

Makes a change from it being their keeper.

Barnsley really are impressive in transition. Seem to be a bit vulnerable to balls down the channels though. Think the next goal in this determines the winner.

Great game this, but the co-commentator really needs to stop talking.

Great finish by Watters, wondered what happened to him from his time at Crawley. Rather against the run of play not that it matters.

We should have had 4 or 5 tonight but a great away win in horrid conditions. A well earned break for us now.

This Barnsley vs Wednesday game is brilliant, can’t even be mad if Barnsley win.

2 from 4 for automatic promotion or Barnsley still with too much to do?

Brilliant goal to seal it for Barnsley. Once again the speed they move the ball at is very impressive.

Cat right amongst the pigeons now at the top and a secure promotion spot for Wednesday now looks potentially vulnerable. Good game, very open and could of ended with more goals either way.

Solid win for Argyle, pleasing for us in keeping the drop 9 points off but Stanley seem to have lost their way and discipline at the moment.

Nasty looking run in for them too.

Can’t work out if this is the best result for us. Now Barnsley are well and truly in the race for top 2 (I’ve been waiting for this most of the season) but now Plymouth are one slip away and Sheffield Wednesday now only two. If we want to make top 2, we needed them to slip up so a win for them tonight would be worse for us.
We’ve got to play Barnsley so keeping them away is for us to play for.

It’s either of our draws going to be our fault for play offs or our goal difference could be the reason for a promotion….

I think it is probably going to be a little too much for Barnsley to do to get automatic especially as a their GD is a little off the others. With that said I wouldn't want any part of them in the playoffs whoever ends up making them.

Going to be very tight, we’ve got a decent run in and Ipswich and Barnsley still have to play eachother, but anything can happen.

There really is a noticeable jump in quality between the top and bottom of L1 this season, almost like two separate divisions

I think its quite simple, if you beat Barnsley that was a great result for you, if you don't them you won't go up automatically anyway. The Barnsley match is what matters for you,

Ipswich’s dodgy cancellation this weekend looking like a masterstroke…

We can come to our own conclusions!
