Yet more cowardly words from this fella.
We might be in the bottom 4, ravaged by injuries and suspensions but the Carlisle management, squad and supporters still have a backbone and fight in them.
We'll have to change the formation now, I think we'll go back to 5-3-2, but it's tight at the bottom and every point counts.
I would like to see Edmondson brought back into the starting 11 and Gibson used out wide.
Huntington possibly brought back in defence after recovering from injury.
Cowardly words?
Give yourself a shake, you broken man.

Sport is competitive.
Any footballer who concedes defeat before kicking a ball is a coward.
You predict us to be defeated game after game.
You're a coward.

Home to Vale.

Same old, same old for us at the minute really, too many injuries to make any worthwhile changes and too many attacking players out injured. Jack Vale scored in midweek and I suspect he'll start, so we'll at least have a striker in the starting XI.

Duffy and Brown both got a run out against Notts County but went off injured, so even the little bit of depth we have left in the squad is disappearing! Might have Roughan back who's missed the last couple of games.

Feels like we've drifted in the last two or three games with no manager and I don't think that's done the players any favours tbh.

Pretty much the same boat for us really, 7 injured all relatively key players and one suspended so as it stands we only have two fit defenders and no fit wing backs that are actually wing backs!

Hoping one of the centre halves is back tomorrow or we may have to give a league debut to a 16 year old (Lomax or Shorrock). Wouldn’t be ideal.

Bloody set up that Vale scores against us purely for the news headline writers!

This one feels huge, given the history of the fixture, the upcoming run of tough games and our cup defeat at Chesterfield last week.

After our previous attempts to beat Charlton I'm tempted to lock myself in a cupboard for the duration.

Yeah I've already put money on Charlton to win. Especially with Raggett in defence.

He has a good point to be fair, because you do go overboard with the negativity and you're quick to predict us to get thrashed many times which never happens and yet when I predict us to thrash someone like Cambridge 4-0 you criticise me for it when you're just as bad.

Debuting today our limited edition Wedgwood Vase kit… hopefully we can avoid falling to pieces in the box!

It’s fine to criticise a prediction if you disagree with it, but in this case the boy clearly doesn’t have a clue what a coward is, and ridiculously uses a footballer conceding defeat before he’s played a match as a comparison to a fan making a pre match prediction.

No options today but to put our main holding midfielder at centre half, not looking forward to this one now! Not sure if Ojo has ever played there before!

In what is likely to be Shaw's last game in caretaker charge, it's a very weird line-up. Arguably weakened us further by leaving Mitchell, Mandroiu, Roughan and Vale on the bench.

Cambridge getting spanked!
Yep. Worst result in my time supporting the U’s going back to 1990. We’ve lost heavier and against weaker teams but unacceptable to lose 5-0 to your local rivals in a league game.

In summary, we were pathetic.

Think we deserve that lead. Moved the ball very nicely first half and could have scored before that. Lincoln just looked a little off the pace but obviously at some point you’d think they’d step it up.

Been the better team and in control in general. Lincoln look a bit of a threat on the break but we have finally turned some dominance into an actual goal. Obviously we've seen this before when we've been the better team and then the other team comes back into it because we haven't killed the game off.

it's been a relentless scrapathon and midfield slog, with 14 mins of stoppage time after 2 long (but legit) injury breaks - unfortunately Stevenage worked together a decent goal at the end of the half and we trail 1-0.

As you'd expect from a side based on pure scrapping, they break up play and defend very solidly, plus we're not great at creating chances from open play to begin with. So we're still in this, but it's uncertain where our leveller would be coming from.

Arblaster sent off for us for two yellows. No complaints, just rash decision making from him sadly. Lincoln also had someone sent off presumably for violent conduct,

As I said......we were dreadful second half and deservedly got punished. Lincoln weren't much better and didn't look like scoring until we handed them a goal.

Two points dropped, relegation starting to look a reality. We just don’t kill teams off when on top.

Only plus is he’s on international duty when his ban is!

Under Liam Manning that probably would have been a comfortable win with a clean sheet where the opposition were made to look ordinary.

It could and probably should have been 5-1 on 50 minutes having missed an open goal and hitting the bar. Somehow it ended 3-2 in a bit of a kamikaze performance. It lacked discipline, any sort of composure, game management and any sort of structure. It was far from a typical performance from Oxford United this season, but a win is a win.

The game suited Ruben Rodrigues and nobody else!

Shocker from Lewis Cass to let their lad in to set up the equaliser. He’d nearly cost us with some boneheaded stuff prior to that. Also Loft looks like he runs with a piano on his back, I don’t see how he comes on ahead of Thomas. Overall though we dominated the first half, them the second so probably a draw is right in the end.

What a strange game. Vale the better team first half, lots of the ball, a few chances but they looked comfortable. Think we had 1 chance. Couldnt argue at being down at the break.

2 mins into 2nd half and Arblaster sent off for a 2nd yellow, somehow missed the 1 in first half and you think game on. 5 mins later and O'Connor sent off which evens it up.

Vale were shocking 2nd half, considering it was 10 a piece, and they passed it round well 1st half, they struggled 2nd half. So much time wasting from the keeper and they kept playing it long, and it kept coming back. We weren't great, too many wayward passes, but Vale deserve that based on their 2nd half. I didnt understand their tactic, they played like they were a man down.

As expected, minutes silence was observed well, and Vale fans did their best to stay quiet for the full 90.

Because Crosby is mr negative. Just do what we’d been doing and we win but he’s always doing it, especially considering our defensive injury crisis.
