Getting battered - could’ve been 6or 7. Notts look good to be fair.

The Jodi Jones fella looks even more devastating as a winger, he's an assist machine.

Impressive and brave move by Part Time Stuart to drop the 3 at the back for the first time this season and go with 4. Much needed and big win for the new man.

Really wish we could play Newport every week home or away alas we can't. Agree with Roger 3-1 was actually very kind to the home side who the division know can be a handful on their day.

Results around us went very well indeed too.

Wrexham away next, ouch! That's not ideal as the tough start for Maynard continues.

Some odd results tonight but who cares, Notts play well, get a win and looked solid for just about the first time all season.
Delighted for Maynard who has had way too much abuse already.

What a dirty side Salford are, two yellow cards could easily have been red and probably should have been, Robinson was at his whinging best, got a yellow and spent most of his time on the pitch. We had a goal disallowed for offside but never looked like it then they equalise straight afterwards. We did miss 3 very good chances though so only ourselves to blame. I will say it’s the first time I’ve seen us be so physical for 3 years and again we are starting to see a glimmer of a McCann side. A good point but should have been 3

If you are going to win 3-2 with a worldy free kick after being 2 -0 down then that's the Morecambe way ,cheers Tranmere

That is a stellar result away at Stockport, made even more important by the other results around us. Love to see it.

Was glad we managed to grind out another result in another one of these tough games, given harrogates form and away record - harrogate had conceded 16 in 15 away games before tonight.

FGR winning at Barrow is mad. Mansfield winning 9-2 is mad. Notts beating Newport away is mad. Bradford thrashing MK Dons is mad. Crewe beating Stockport away is a bit mad too.

But none as mad as us winning away at Sutton.
Meanwhile, us Gy fans at home are starting to really get what it’s like being a Hartlepool fan…

Deserved win for FGR, we were hopeless and it should have been more comfortable to be honest.

Rinse and repeat from last season, tailing off massively over the second half of the season. Two games in a row where the manager's team selection has left me scratching my head. We won't make the playoffs.

A richly deserved win for the Pride of Cheshire in Greater Manchester tonight. We took our chances and looked very confident on the ball and never looked like losing. Turns and Demetriou were our rocks at the back tonight and I thought CBR and Nev were so impressive leading the line. Great hit from Austerfield too which sapped any chances of a Stockport comeback.

Can't believe how mediocre Stockport were. The triple sub at half time was ineffective and for as attacking as they looked at the second half they barely laid a glove on us.

10 points out of 12 against Wrexham, Stockport, Mansfield and Barrow away. And we should've held on against Wrexham too. Really starting to believe we can push on and get promotion now. Especially with our away performances since the turn of the year...

All I'm saying to that, from what is now a rainy Barrow, is YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!

Entertaining game, correct result, good tactics from our manager, skill from (most of) our players (Charlie McCann cough cough). The new away stand at Holker Street (if you avoid all the pillars, which when there are only 69 of you, you can) is pretty decent too. What an unexpectedly enjoyable evening!

What a magnificent win, fully deserved. Was surprised how quickly Stockport ran out of ideas - other than their goal, I don't really remember them having a chance until the 93rd minute. I guess we deserve a lot of the credit for that. I didn't want to say it until now but I'm really starting to believe that we might not get relegated this season.

Not shocked FGR beat an out of sorts Barrow at all, the squad avaliable to them is good enough to stay up I just think they may have too much to do now.

Everything about Stockport tonight was (pardon the pun) flat as a pancake. Got to give our lads the credit, we completely outplayed them from minute 1.

Even the crowd though were incredibly flat in the home end, big local game, with a big crowd, under the lights and from minute 1 you could only hear the away fans. Granted County didn't give there crowd much to get behind, but I just think it all summed Stockport up tonight very flat.

Demetriou and Turns were top class at the back though and Offord has turned into a top class CDM. Big mention for Holicek aswell today, I thought he was fantastic, it was almost like abit of a passing of the torch from Nick Powell to Matus tonight, from one mega talented Crewe academy product to another.

We were absolutely dire, excluding the first ten minutes. Morecambe completely deserved the win and Adkins has some serious questions to answer about our tactics. Notable lack of desire once Morecambe equalised too - only one team was pushing for the winner.

Ngl, I know it's a Tuesday, but I'd be pounding the beers tonight after putting 9 past a team.

Harrogate defence was m mistake prone today and gave us plenty of space in the final third, but we for once started really quickly at home and were just unstoppable, thrashed anyone in the league tonight no doubt. Clough made some changes, Boateng absolutely ran the show and was the best player on the pitch by a mile - he’s started about three games all season. I think once we got a couple the pressure was all off which helped massively.

The only downside and I know for a fact Clough is fuming at is the two goals given away, needless, on a plate sort of stuff but obviously a sensational performance.

I predicted as much at h/t and Morecambe were trying to win the match and played the better football for most of the game. Pivotal moment was Apter going for glory at 2-1 up in the second half, whereas if he squares to Saunders it's a tap-in and we might have got something out of the game.

Looks like we helped kickstart Mansfield‘s faltering season. Nice one, pleased for them.

We were great tonight, bit of a throwback to last season, solid in defence, good up front, especially on the counter. Maybe the season’s not over after all.

They’d gorged themselves on the candy they took from our defence on Saturday

We pressed really well, chased everything, had a great defensive shape, and took our chances when they came our way. Whilst the football hasn't been pretty at times I'm both surprised and pleased at how some of the players have improved as individuals under Alexander: Tomkinson and Kelly the main two.

MK Dons looked really good until they got toward our box. Still think they'll be pushing for the autos. Just an off night for them, I guess.

Also, the ref was an absolute clown. The bookings we picked up weren't bookings. The Smallwood booking was atrocious.

Where did that come from? Best we’ve played since.. Salford in early September maybe?

Changed shape and just looked a far more sensible football team. Pretty solid behind the ball and looked like scoring every time we came forward.

Doubt it would have mattered as we have been well beaten by Notts home and away, but thought we should have changed to a back 4 much earlier. We didnt learn from the game at ML when Jones again took the piss. Notts dominated possession and midfield with the extra body and we couldn’t live with their front 2 plus Jones. In fairness Notts were strong all over the park. One to forget and move onto Gills on the weekend.
